Awful P and O cruises

This is something I always consider before booking a cruise

14 nights of sunloungers and chairs being dragged across lido deck. We have complained on board 3 times and 3 times to P an O who have offered a couple of hundred quid compensation.

Just make sure when you book there are cabins below and above you

This is the case on any cruise ship in the world below the lido deck is noisy, that's why those cabins sell at a lower grade.

They should be giving them away..... Or at least tell us when we book the cabin..... The noise was relentless and even the deck manager who visited our room agreed.

It is very cheaply furnished.

Yes... We were happy on arrival, then noticed just how much stuff was in poor condition. The balcony furniture was badly damaged and we pointed it out and the deck manager said they were replacing all of the furniture in the coming days.... They never made it to our cabin....

Thank you.... I genuinely want people to see this video and learn from it.... We've only done a few cruises and upgraded to this cabin..... You expect some noise.... But not every morning beginning at 4.30 am - 5am and finishing at 1 am..... I suggested to the deck manager to put up some signs telling people to not drag the furniture..... Which at times was extremely loud. We, like many others previously, have learnt from this expensive mistake!

It certainly wasn't. We had the deck manager up who confirmed that it is an extremely noisy cabin with several others in that area.

We had a medical emergency whilst on the North Sea and a helicopter had to land.... We were told to leave our cabins and meet in the reception area where we spoke with several others on our deck.... Who all were annoyed about the mess. We were compensated but it took a while.

Why didn’t you ask to be moved? I asked to move cabins due to noise was moved with8n the hour!

We did ask after the first night. Full with an inside cabin the only alternative..... I told the deck manager to place a few signs to stop people dragging the furniture and he said that was a good idea.... Never happened.
