Not to mention they can serve as good cannon fodder as well since enemies sometimes at least get distracted by them.

@@joshcoy6748 I can also say the same thing for Bowser’s Rabbid Mechakoopa ability since enemies often focus on attacking them when they are on the field. I often used them for that reason as well.

I honestly like the concept a lot but often find them pretty bugged. They sometimes run in the opposite direction of monsters and only serve to get killed almost immediately (especially at the highest difficulty) Also would not recommend use them during the final boss initially because it bugs the boss out. That being said, just know that you can buff them with the fortify spark and princess peach's shields

Yeah I had a bug with the Scoper in the Barrendale Wastes battle gate, all the AI controlled characters would get stuck when going through a certain pipe but the enemies would eventually sort themselves out but the ally Scoper just got permanently stuck resulting in a softlock forcing me to restart the fight The game is good but I've encountered several bugs once where the game would softlock when passing to the enemy turn which needed a full return to main menu to fix, and the bug in Palette Prime where if you complete the secret zone before finishing the story missions the game wont count it as complete leaving you stuck at 99% even though you have everything

Damn, I wasn’t big on sparks of hope AT ALL but the promise of summonables almost made me buy the game (for whatever reason I’m a BIG fan of summomables in video games, I would buy the scariest horror game if it somehow incorporated summonable minions/allies well enough) if it wasn’t for oozer being a world 3 or 4 reward like what’s the point of having sparks appear in endgame if the games already halfway over? It’s like 4 or 5 fights and boom no more content to use it with, they don’t even have new game plus for a turn based strategy game with MAJOR collectable aspects, bare minimum they had to reach

Dude I had that final boss glitch happen to me and when it did I was speechless at first and then started laughing I said (they really didn't think about that happening) the next attempt I immediately got rid of all the summoning sparks before starting the fight

I like to use: Oozer + Mario: after stomping and shooting a group, mario is vulnerable. Oozer disables weapons, reducing his vulnerability Wildclaw + R. Luigi: R. Luigi is super useful, but doesnt pack much of a punch, big bro wildclaw makes up for that while also being the best at dealing with breakable portals. Squashette + Luigi: her knockback works excelently with a maxed steely stare, plus puahing people out of cover is great with luigis high ground. Scoper + peach: no grand reason, but peach is a big frontliner that soaks loads of damage, so dropping a sniper before running in is beneficial

I’d personally use oozer on supports like rabbid Rosalina or rabbid peach. Both have the disadvantage of only being able to target one enemy at a time. Having the ability to stave off enemies with oozer can boost their survivability. Rosalina even more so as it synergies well with her Enui and stasis dash. Mix in cryogeddon, and she becomes capable of stopping groups of enemies every turn with some stalling status condition. Alternatively, peach can heal oozer and buff its defense with exosphere. Wildclaw, I would give to peach. Peach is exceptionally bulky, but the meat shield capacity of the tiger could be boosted by team shield or fortify. And the fact that it doesn’t travel too far from peach allows her to stick by it if things get too sticky for her to be out in the open.

In my opinion the oozer as an enemy litterly just helps you by giving you ooze so you can spread it to other enemies

I always find them horrible - They have very little health plus the passive bonus they give increases healing received which isn't exactly the worst but there are better like Attack, Critical, and Protection

No, Squashette's pretty mediocre. Oozer's OP because it has the Disarm and Silence techniques while poisoning enemies with its attacks.

The summons are either beyond clutch or beyond stupid, but they're always funny. Disabled all the riptides, stooges, and tanked a lone wolf shot? Great! Now time to attack the closest barrel and suicide for no reason.

The summon wildclaw is best with peach the Royale protection can help him stay alive while moving closer to the attacker The summon scoper is best with Luigi due to both of them sniping from afar The summon oozer is best with rabbid. Luigi can combine great with his exhaust ability The summon sqaushette is best with mario mainly to activate his hero sight

Wildclaw and Squashette are found in the Pallete Prime and Barrendale Mesa secret zones. Oozer and Scoper can be found via sidequests in Terra Flora and Barrendale Mesa.
