Actually, Giant Magikoopa fights nothing like a regular Magikoopa. Instead of area attacks, it summons endless waves of Goombas, though it does keep the attack buff ability the normal ones have. It's actually pretty hard. Edit: Also, "Daphne" is the name of a type of flower, as well as a Greek goddess who turned herself into a tree.

I fought Giant Magikoopa in the tower of doom for the first time in tower of dooooooom, and they werent really that hard. They're pretty easily cheesed by long range characters and anyone with multiple dashes to get rid of the goombas

i actually really loved the giant goomba, i raised the difficulty for excitement and i ended up having mario and peach distract enemies while luigi and his sparks slowly depleted the goomba in a surprisingly fun cat and mouse chase using steely stare and whoopsgottago

Cursa's fight is by far the best boss, this was also my first ever fight in which I started using healing items lol (Luigi was about to faint, aka a big loss for charging Rosalina's attack), but turns out I was way closer to finish the fight than I thought, next turn was enough to defeat Cursa once and for all! I'm curious how the DLC will turn out once it finally gets a release at some point

Since you mentioned some of the bosses’ designs, are we not gonna mention how Cursa’s design is absolutely AMAZING? Her first and main form is simple yet effective, giving off a sheer display of power and intimidation with how she towers over everyone and everything, plus the bottom of her branching off into massive tentacles gives her a really eldritch and incomprehensible vibe. She somehow also has a bit of a “dark beauty” thing going on at the same time, with her slender figure and piercing eye. And her Astral Arms are pretty creepy, what with how realistically-shaped they are and how they perpetually follow your hero around in battle wherever they go-that coupled with the music makes for a really unsettling first phase in her battle. And her final form? It’s something straight out of Kirby or Final Fantasy, enough said. It looks genuinely terrifying, even with the Rabbid mask.

I think you forgot to mention something about the mecha bowser jr fight. Before you fight him, you have to fight a bunch of other smaller enemies on the same exact battlefield. So any cover that was destroyed during that fight STAYS DESTROYED, making it very easy for the other smaller enemies to hit you while you're trying to defeat bowser jr, making the battle quite difficult sometimes

Well every old boss from kingdom battle instantly dies to sparks of hope heros due to scaling being way higher, like instant 1 shots on all of them

@@redrose1179 Yeah In Sparks of hope you are doing thousands of damage per hit you wouldn't even need a full team just send Rabbid Mario who's damage is so high that one shots most enemies in the game.

I actually had the first Mario + Rabbids game and while it was fun the main thing that killed it for me was the way the characters move during and outside of the battles. Having a limited area to run around and placing a set path to choose in the battles just didn’t feel right to me but it looks like that issue was fixed in Sparks of Hope

The only downside to the curse boss fight is that if you summon an ally unit through a spark in the first phase the game will break if cursa targets said summon.

You know I found an easy way to beat the Giant Squashette, it’s very simple, all you have to do is get her trap on one of the stairs on the map, then get your hero’s on one side and the other two on the other side,. And what would happen is that the Giant Squashette wouldn’t know which hero to go after, which makes it easier to kill her.
