I love Nora lum aka awkwafina, and the courage to go on stage and rap in front of a huge crowd, huge noisey speakers around you.... full respect. I know its really hard (because of those reasons) to perform live with the same integrity/quality with the original official song. I just wish she didn't feel she had to yell the rap all the way through, and the part when she said "its time to let the world know" that was the swing (hair raising rhythm).. that's when you really give people the sassy slow ball to make them say daaaamn you go boss girl! She did great but there a reason why her offical video went viral was what her live performance missed a bit. It was dynamite because of her sultry, broody, silky smooth swanging chain rhythm. You believed every word she said and loved it in the original. :) love her anyway... super super talented and beautiful.

Valeria Matzner to be fair, I don’t think she had a ton of live shows. This all still seems very early stage performer. Like, when people perform at county fairs, festivals, malls, etc. Some folks get better with time. Some are just fabulous out of the gate. But, good thing her acting career took off so she’s fine without her music career :)

She really should stick to her double majors in journalism and women's studies as a slightly above-average Chinese American girl should. Heaven forbid this parody would have made money on top of getting her fired from a promotional agency in Manhatten.
