Damn man I got teary eyed watching this! I really felt that part when she talked about all her friends graduating from college and finding purpose in the jobs they got after they finished school, yet she knew herself that she would never find purpose in doing that. I feel like i'm going through the same thing as her, but i still gotta find what i like and what fulfills me personally

kimberlycn mmm graduating college doesn’t guarantee this. Now its just a piece of paper.

Girl, (/boy/gender ambiguous human whom I care about) it's gonna be okay. If you just finished undergrad and you went straight thru, I'm over a decade older than you. I just finished law school near the top of my class, and my future looks fucking bright. Took me a long ass time to get here because I didn't want to commit to pursuing something that wouldn't fulfil me. 1L year was completely magical; it all clicked in my head and I KNEW that I had made the right decision. So my point is... Life is not a competition with your friends. It's not a race to the finish line. Take your time, work hard at whatever job you can get or wanna do now that will keep you from being homeless or whatever. (e.g. I waited tables for 6 years at fine dining places and learned A TON of hugely relevant shit that ultimately made me a better person overall.) Live your life and enjoy the journey. Hope that helps a little bit, Pink Ranger!

Forget about finding a job you love; it ain't gonna happen for 99% of people. Find a job you are good at and can stand and that pays the bills.
@drycs41456 жыл бұрын
@@Waingro808 This might be the worst advice ever xD even if you have 1% chance to get a job that you like, still try to reach it, don't just let it go... You can try, and try again, and don't just search a job to pay the bills, because whoever does this better have a pretty strong moral support coming from somewhere because I couldn't do it...

I completely understand how Awkwafina feels like, all the people around me found their passion and having their time of my life. While me over here, not sure what to fulfill my passion or my life, struggling. Also sometimes I do get a little jealous at my friends. Awkwafina your my true role model and you inspire me truly. Also, never give up no matter how much your failed.

Some people get fired because they are overqualified also or because they simply don't fit The clickusually the boss with way out those terms against what other options you have and he will generally try to give you the best option because for you to stay at his company and not be happy to the fullest like everyone else that is not what he is trying to attain and probably not where you are trying toattain either the box's number 1 prerequisite when dealing with people is to not waste their time if you have a good boss he is trying to give you the best position even if it is somewhere else business 101 the more people you keep happy the more people will tend to keep you happy

Y'all I am never gonna get sick of hearing all these white men interviewing Ms. Lum in all sorts of formal settings saying "my vag." So far it's been this guy whoever he is, Jimmy Kimmel, and "Legendary film critic Peter Travers" (I think you have to say that last guy's full title when you speak of him.) Awkwafina on Kimmel - they both danced around the word and she was like, "well you said it" and it was treated like a dirty word you can't say on TV. Which is so insulting because it is literally the correct medical terminology for a part of my human body. Which also happens to literally be the same place where all other human lives commence. Why the fuck should it be a dirty word? Cut to this interview, and everyone's getting comfier. THIS is the type of shit that breaks down barriers, like water eroding rock... just slowly eating away at it bit by bit until there is nothing left and those who loved the mountain/took it for granted barely even noticed.

My bad, this guy is Sam Jones. Just checked out his write-up of Awkwafina on his website and he seems like one of the good ones. Shouldn't have just dismissed him like that. It's just that... don't y'all think all white men look pretty much alike? 🤣

Very glad she did. Her and eaZy Mac are my favorite hilarious KZbin rappers

This video has been up for ~2.5 years, and no one has bothered to go back and edit out the part where she accidentally flashes the camera? It seems like it would not be that hard--for someone who works with cameras all day!--to cut out the bottom of the shot where she crosses her legs and adjusts her skirt. You seem like a good guy, so I'm going to give you the benefit of the doubt and assume that you just didn't notice.
