So usually people who get cheated on think that they deserved it for some reason like maybe they falsely believe that they didn’t give their partner enough attention, satisfaction. They may think that they were too ugly or too fat. Most of the time the cheater will make up excuses and make the other person feel bad as well, this leads to more self blame for not being good enough. The person who was cheated on usually will give them a second chance because they hope it’ll work out again and their partner will change for the better. In the end if someone cheats on you just leave. There’s no excuse to cheat on someone unless you were being held at gunpoint lol.
