I think I'm going to pick this up! Since I tend to host and plan game nights in advance, I could see myself putting together 2 or 3 decks the night before so that they are ready to go when people sit down! That way I don't have to ask my guests to help rifle through hundreds of cards. Great review!

Thanks! And yeah, not a bad idea - get the setup out of the way so all they got to do is start thinking!

Nice review. I actually helped the company -- based in Spain -- with copyediting the rulebook. It turned out pretty well. They obviously had some phrasing and concepts they wanted to leave, but I think it got to a decent place. Glad that aspect worked for you =) For the player sheets, I actually just laminated them with an Amazon laminator, and they work great with dry erase. But you are right that setup/teardown is long, even with a couple of people helping. Unavoidable, I guess. And I know some folks are struggling with the game stalling out a bit, but I think people need to play "to win" rather than "not to lose." Put another way: the more you trade, the more you gain. Pick another person and try and make up ground with them. Three other people (in a five-player game) would be falling behind you if you and the other player are helping each other. It's all about table talk.

I’ve got a terrible sore throat and am generally viral too. Thanks for the review, I think once this lurgy has gone I’ll buy this.

Instead of marking on a paper, i suggest these sheets can be on the app itself.

Played this at 2 mostly and it is great.The mechanism at 2 players discards mutually seen card's which speeds up the game.

I'm really glad to hear it works with two players, since that us how my wife and I will be playing it.

@@garys4067 I am also glad to hear it, as well, because a lot of people on BGG as well as KZbin are saying it actually doesn't work well with 2 (and that Scandaloh! is much better for it).

Hi, Luke. If I get a copy and let 3 or 4 groups of teens play, would that work?
@TheBrokenMeeple3 жыл бұрын
I don't see why not?

@@TheBrokenMeeple Letting them play different cases, I meant, so I won't need to buy multiple copies. I asked a clerk in a store, and he told me it might not work.

I invariably love playing this game, and had it down as one of my Top 5 for last year - we often play it with 5-8 players at BM York, and it always goes down well, esp. when all the smartasses (myself included) think they've solved it and push the rest of the group to gamble on a solution, only to find out we're all wrong! And yes, totally agree that it keeps everyone involved for the majority of its play time... An excellent game, imho, and very easy to teach, too... 👍

The artwork is actually quite nice, if it would be colored. The setup sounds like a nightmare

Enjoyed the review Luke. Was funny how you morphed Colonel Mustard and Professor Plum for your Cluedo character :)
