Sorry but for hydrolysis of esters do you have to say hot dilute aqueous acid or can you say heat and dilute aqueous acid?

For the question on glutamic acid, how did you know it was cyclic? Paper tomorrow..very scared

I'm afraid you had to work it out. Just remember that amino and carboxylic acid groups can join together via a condensation reaction. Sure you'll be fine :)
