i went to singapore when i was a child, there was a chinese girl letting me use the slide first at the playground but the way she said it was like ' let malay go first' or something along the line. so i was like okayy. weird sentence but who cares? now looking back, i realize that she saw me as a 'malay' rather than 'a random girl'. like u dont let people go first just because the person is malay? she meant to be nice ofc. but it is kinda dissapointing bcs when i was young, i never really thought abt seeing my friends as some certain race or any different from me

Karim Khan there's recounting one's own experience with a particular person, but branding the reason they acted that way was because of their race is the very definition of generalization, stereotyping, and racism. He had a deadbeat dad, but not all Malays are going to be like that. Get it? Plus, what the heck does religion or 'the truth' have got to do with the conversation? Check yourself before you wreck yourself boy.
@harizmaloy4204
@harizmaloy4204 7 жыл бұрын
Karim Khan boy you just don't get it do you. A lot still does not mean majority. And it still does not mean that they are that way because of their race. 'Majority of Malays are deadbeat dads' is simply a racist statement. Also, this is not a 'Disagreeable Point'. It's not a point period. Haresh's videos are meant for you. Watch them and REALLY understand what he's trying to say. Casual racism is still a bad thing. And again, when the heck did Islam come into the picture? Are you ok dude?

Oh my word that malay girl tho!!! 😍😍 Ok besides that, another thing I wanna point out as well is when we talk about weddings. People say malay weddings are cheap and they question why we make a special occasion located at a place with cat piss and dirty walls. We just have to educate our friends and family about racism. Casual or otherwise its still pretty degrading. Have a good day

I've once helped an uncle. our local non-malay fellow coutryman over at jb. his car got some problems at b-point. so my friend and i decided to helped him out. when we approached him, he spoke to us in malay, it was in malaysia so he assumed we're (my friend and i) are malaysians. but we kept conversing to him in english. we then offered to send him back home to sg as his car broke down. then he knew we are Singaporeans, he then asked, "You got spare helmet ah?" HALLOO?! YOU THINK MALAIREN BO LUI BUY CAR AH! HALLO HALLO NOT Z10 okay.. but we did send him home...

@@sofea898 actually what racistlyfe said is kind of true for uni students nowadays. We only nod and say "eh" when we meet most people our age that we are not so close with. It's kinda like this Close friends: do that man shake thing where you fist pump and stuff. Most people: nod and say "eh" and then walk pass them as quickly as possible. 5+ years Older people: shake hands (cium tangan) 5+ years younger people: they shake our hands (dia cium tangan) Religious malays our age: shake hands (without any kissing) +hug (sometimes)

Terry Mcginnis Can we go further to global facts? at least the hidden truth of creation differences which what we called as race. We can assume that average IQ level of certain races is depend on their skins colours. BTW my IQ is pretty high, that's why I realize it and make some calculation. But according to main source, 7.6 billion of people divided into 4 major races. That concludes Malayan, Chinese, Indonesian, Indian as Mongoloid, which has same gen or type. But I still push that categorisation of races away since they are based on Skulls type. In my conclusion, IQ level of races should be measured by skins colour.

There's one which one of my malay friends shared what he went through before. He said his colleague labelled him as playing the victim card just because he told his colleague that he was discriminated at work. (which he really was after hearing him out.) Whenever I read forums, I noticed alot of people like to use the phrase "victim card" alot and shrugged it off too.
