truth. been decades since i ran a register, but rules were simple: u dont ask cause u dont care. get the pricin correct, get them their proper change bak [kids, ask yer folks bout cash transactions], and drive on 2 the next in line. bonus story -- i wil neva 4get my all time fave purchase tho -- Dude walks up 2 40 oz. & an anniv. card. i didnt say a word, he goes on his way, but i am SCREAMIN in my mind -- 'u hav outdun yerself mr. romance' :-)
