Finally, a video that talks everything positive about psychology. I am feeling so relieved right now. Actually, I am in the 2nd year of my ba psych course and I am under the training of a counseling psychologist and I actually see my trainer have so many clients and earning from various sources. This was really really motivating. And you are so right about quora. I used to highly follow quora a few months back and after reading some negative answers, I was doubting if I have made the right choice of transitioning into this field. But you cleared all my doubts. Thanks, di. Thank you so much. P.S: Quora glorifies govt jobs and people getting into the mainstream medical field a lot in my opinion. And according to it, either you are a govt employee or a mainstream doctor, otherwise, you are dead. You won't succeed in your life if you don't do either of these two.

Hey! divija please help!! Can you also talk about clinical psychology and how can we earn a good career and livelihood from it. Like while dealing with higher order mental health issues. And also through research? Like my question is what are the options if we are not gonna opt for counselling psychology. I actually am really fascinated and passionate about the subject. I'm actually in school( humanities group) and I'm really hoping of choosing psychology and also achieving financial independence as soon as possible (cuz of my family background) . But I'm not sure about counselling psychology. (ik I'm kinda talking with a half baked knowledge) Yk the ncert class 11 psychology book starts with a chapter of introduction with branches and career opportunities included. Frankly I thought there are a lot of options and thought that I could get what I want. But then, ppl around me 🤷. And also I need to know whether that's actually true. Like I have been to therapy sessions by myself. A person related to me closely actually had clinical depression. So I have also been to a mental health hospital. ( Was a hospital run by a group of psychiatrists, clinical cand counselling psychologists) Frankly that's what motivated me towards the line also it has always fascinated me. So, I have seen ppl who were well settled and were doing this job. So I'm kinda confused...... (Ps. I live in a metropolitan city)
