I played this when it came out, fantastic game. its absolutely exploding with nostalgia, not only for the retro gaming eras represented, for those of us that are in our 30s and older, and were growing up in these eras. this game is also an original VR classic, it started out as a free early demo on the DK1 called "pixel rift". so the original versions of this game are actually older than the consumer VR market itself, around 6 years now. that's why your controller is locked to your hands and you interact with the world by headlook. motion controls didnt exist at the time, VR was still played with a gamepad. valve were the ones who blew everyone away with the vive having roomscale and motion controls out of the box. oculus was still telling everyone VR was a seated experience, and the touch controllers didnt release until 9 months after the rift and vive launched.

That was too short for an episode in a series like this wolf .Not trying to pressure but i think this episode should have been bigger Cant wait for the series though
@AWolfinVR4 жыл бұрын
The first few episodes here will be a bit shorter (episode 2 is quite short) - just the structure of the game. But they do get longer toward the end. *And just a note about video length:* I can't express how much it means that you guys wanna binge hour long episodes each day. That's crazy! But there are a couple factors that make me try and keep videos around 30 minutes. 1. If someone new to the channel sees a 50 minute video, they're more likely to pass on that. It's not really an accessible length for someone new. It's why you'll see a vast number of KZbinrs have their videos sit between 10-30 minutes. More people can set aside that amount of time easily. 2. Making a 40-50 minute video requires significantly more recording and editing time. This 25 minute video was about an hour of recording, plus another 6 hours of editing. A 40 minute video is usually around an hour and a half of recording plus about 8-10 hours of editing. So 5 videos a week equates to about a 50-55 hour work week. It's a lot! 3. The game itself helps decide episode length. Pixel Ripped, for example, has 4 levels and I'm dedicating a video to each level. Lone Echo, on the other hand, didn't have clear and specific break points, so I just kept recording until I found a good episode ending. Now, all that being said, I definitely want to keep my larger series longer, simply because it allows the audience to get into the story more without a break every 20 minutes. Pixel Ripped has shorter levels but it's also a short game. We'll be finishing it this week and the first 2 videos will be on the short side. Episodes 3 and 4 will be closer to 30-40 minutes. Sorry for the long explanation but I do see this often when I post a "shorter" video. Promise I'm not trying to hold out on you!

So i did the rounded up math, and settled Nicola's gameplay at 23 trillion seconds even though it's more. 1 trillion seconds is equal to 31,710 years, multiply that by 23 and you get 729,330 years. WTF?!?!?! That's like impossible, she would've had to be playing before the age of 9 almost when she was born in my eyes. 6:16
