Just tried this demo yesterday and I loved it! The hellhound was so awesome to just hang out :) But the game mechanics are sick with all the ways you can move and the powers you have. Definitely will purchase this game :)

My favorite moment is at 19:45 where. in spectator mode, he grabs a leg and just goes "Ugh seriously dude that is a issue." and throws the leg down. I can perfectly envision an animatic or anime that does that. Was so funny XD

Concussive blast eliminates the shields on the floaty guys, FYI. Would've made fighting them a little easier than trying to overpower them. Also, with the pistol, "manual" reloading makes the bullets more powerful; however, I had to figure it out as the tutorial wasn't entirely clear on it. You pull with with your non-gun hand with trigger held and it spawns bullets in your hand (which you can throw at the enemies if you want); hold that near the gun and it loads them, resulting in more powerful bullets. All that said, this reminds me of Sairento, if it were set in Hell instead of a cyberpunk ninja world, but it feels better than Sairento did.

If anyone really liked this game and hasn't tried sairento, i highly recommend it. Same devs as this game and it has similar mechanics and gameplay. Hellsweeper is def going to be a better game but for a game that was made in 2018 i would def give sairento a chace

Even if the character was a giant (which he isn't by the viewpoint), there's no way a rhino beetle would fit in his ear canal. I get that the developer loved the insect's shell design, but would have been better off choosing a colorful beetle that was more in size to actually fitting into the ear, like a Babblefish would.
