So in order to beat the game completely no one can die, it gives you a different ending.... Usually you want to save in a different save slot before each rescue attempt so that if you do kill somebody you can go back and save them I played twice so I can see both endings 😜

I have theories. Dawn is either George's mom or sister and is either a copycat killer or maybe the original. Who knows if there was ever a killer originally. I think Dawn is trying to get revenge for George, and Ricky was depressed because of something related to the cover-up and that's why he started drinking. I'm guessing the "He" was the one who killed George and maby even the original whistling man. Or maby George was killed in a hazing and that's why dawn didn't kill Carrie but did kill the other teens.

You're close. The tapes are explaining how the victim was running, fell into a body of water and hit his head, became unconscious and drowned. Then his body was moved after death, resulting in the 'post' injury to the arm when it was caught in a door.

You know there was a direct clue that Dawn was the whistling man at the 9:40 to 9:50 mark when Dawn said “You do have it. It is just outside the window.” Remember, they told her it was thrown out a week ago and weren’t sure it wasn’t still there. Dawn was confirming it still was. How can that be if she or her son saw it still there. It has to be because when Forrest goes into the alley, he sees the whistling man still standing at the end of it. Why didn’t the whistling man attack the station then? I don’t know if any of you guys saw it, but why didn’t I see it then? It was right there in front of us then!

@@naterchipboston Yes, landline payphones were around the town, but these people are calling from places that shouldn't have one that could be so easily accessed, like on the steps of the apartment building or in the middle of a maze, etc. Also, they would need to stay by the phone or in the booth, which would make them highly visible to the killer, especially when a lot of them back then had lights over or in them.

I think this is the most competent and incompetent playthrough I've seen of this game. He got Murphy killed because he failed to check the construction notice on his map, but he also found out almost immediately that Dawn was lying about trying to get into her apartment before finding any incriminating evidence, and even guessed correctly that she was the whistling man trying to break into Ricky's skating rink.
