Not in the MWATGG fandom but agreed on the critique, these designs sorta feel like the ppg reboot and mlp G5, as in, way too bland and sorta, round?. Also, don't beat yerself up about your voice, my friend is also 13 and sounds way deeper than that, while people sometimes mistake me for a 12 yr old when in uniform :P

im going to be honest i dont really like this video, but i cant fully explain why I dont like a lot of the redesigns that much either but the way they were 'critisized' in the video feels kind of immature and not very thought out, like its more biased opinions & (admittedly kind of unfunny) memes rather than actual thought out criticism based on character design knowledge no ill will intended though, i just figured genuine feedback would be more wanted/helpful than anything else and hey maybe im wrong and its just for a different demographic than me 🤷

For me there are aspects of the new designs that I like, but there are a lot of aspects of them that I don't like. There's something that I've noticed about newer designs compared to Old designs in any type of media, is that the new designs are usually worse than the older designs rather than being better. Which makes me sad. For me I would much rather having the new designs be better than the old ones rather than worse, which is the intention of redesigns in the first place, but most of the time they make them worse or not as good as the older ones. Sorry if I repeated myself. I just want to share my input

Well those 200 different colors matched her upbeat personality better in my opinion. Because her original bio said “A true space cadet, Mars is from another planet!! Green skin and hair, a pair of antennae and quite an….uh……INTERESTING….fashion sense. This Martian sees the universe in a different light than every one else, and expresses her unusual, eclectic thoughts through her art. Painting, sculpture, collage, you name it!! And you’ve never seen anything like it before, and certainly never will again! Mars may be be the weirdest girl in the galaxy, but she is by far the most creative.” And her personality was described as “kooky, quirky, silly, slightly ditzy, giggly” i think that the clashing colors were intentional to help a viewer better understand what her personality was by just looking at her, by making her fashion sense feel more “out of this world” but thats just my own opinion.
