This might've already been mentioned (and I just started the video), but just in case you weren't aware-- you can still unlock the weapon blueprints that would've been found in the armory even if ya flood it. The blueprints can be dropped by Death Patrol humans if ya kill them, along with some other blueprints that a player might miss. So if ya really want those assault rifles, just go to areas where they're patrolling and farm them a bit.
