Dear wolf in VR. The reason bone might not be working as well can be one of many reasons. One, you are grabbing to far back and/or not putting in enough force. Two, you aren't following through your hits. Three, you aren't hitting them in the sweet spot. Four, bone may be too low tiered. Five, you aren't imbuing him to the max. And six, (got this from a commenter), is that you always need to grip with both hands to get enough force. Ps. With the staff you have to keep imbuing for a solid 5-10 seconds before you slam it on the ground. Like so that Wolf can see this!!!

he needs to level up the frickin gravity skill tree to the last level meaning that he needs to kill the golem two more times and merge the three gravity crystals to unlock staff imbue abilities

Also he pretty much used it with only one hand, and the differences shows, when he hits when holding bone with two hands it work much better I can't comprehend why he used it with only one hand for most of the time he used bone

The hammer with gravity works better (as in makes people go flying) when you're using slow motion (which you get from the MIND crystal). Also works better with stronger blunt weapons.

Couple hints to help you out, swing Bone like you're hitting a baseball, and slam the staff like you're Gandalf and the Balrog is trying to pass. Additionally when a staff is charged you can use the magic select button to perform different actions, gravity picks up objects and can throw them, fire send out a fireball, and lightning... well just hold the button and swing it about, it's a lot of fun and quite deadly. Love you're videos bud, have fun and game on.

The staff thing only unlocks at tier 3 of any of the main magics and the fire staff ability is much different then the nomad/pre 1.0 version

The only problem is that your home has a hard cap on the amount of items that you can have physically present at once, which I found out the hard way at some point in my first play-through. Fortunately, there's a mod that increases that cap to 999.

The staff also has a button despending on which hand you have it on, its the lower button of the two you have next to the joystick. You hold down the button and then either slam it down or you can pick up objects with the staff and fling it at people. Other spells also work on it as well and have different effects depending on which one. Let you have fun with that one.

I love imbuing piercing weapons with fire. stabs right through plate like it's barely even there. Combine with gravity in the off hand for incredible mobility, and you're very hard to kill, while dropping even full plate clad soldiers with only one good stab. My preferred weapon? The rapier. With the heavy warmace for my heavy blunt weapon.

@@Lemonbutmore Nomad is currently using the pre 1.0 version of everything. Lightning, just like fire, has been massively amped up from its previously wimpy version. Once you merge 2 lightning crystals together, you unlock long range lightning bolts that fry everything, send anything they hit into a near constant seizure, disarm everything and finally kill them. Mages are weak to lightning because getting hit by it causes spells to charge slower. Long story short, He has no idea what is waiting for him lmao I gotta say fire is just a fun though, especially once you unlock the remote detonation functionality.

Hey Wolf, to see if the staff is fully charged up with the spell, watch the top of the crystal and once you see like a ring or a halo of that spell on the tip, it means it is fully charged. Great vid by the way

I went Gravity, Mind, Body on my first run and it has been so cinematic! Going slow-mo while spinning with a hammer and blasting armored enemies into space has been a highlight of my VR life. I think next run Ill go SUPER mage with Grav, Fire, Lightning!

You’ve got to let the weapons sit in the magic a bit more, the reason why the staves and Bone’s gravity smash weren’t working was because they weren’t properly imbued.

The higher the level of weapon, the better the "blast" works with gravity imbued blunt weapons. Also you should hold it further down the grip.

That is not true. The game specifically points out that the blast effect is simply more potent on two handed blunt weapons. The quality has almost no impact on the blast effect itself.

The slam is the only thing available by default. Things such as the flamethrower must be unlocked.

spoilers hey wolf, get all 3 abilities, then beat the golem 6 times, you get teleported to somewhere with a mysterious sword. don’t go to it but take a right into a room with a gravity elevator, swim up it then once ur on the top take a left and use feather fall for gravity or just climb, then there will be a column with 3 holes. on the first hole put in gravity, second put fire, and third put lightning. then once you do that you can use gravity to get to the sword, once you grab it run out and holster it on your shoulders or just hold it. run into the teleporter and then you will get teleported home, give it a moment and you’ll have the mysterious sword in your book. if you just grab the sword you’ll get zapped then disintegrated so i recommend using the first thing I said

Great Swords work amazing with Gravity imbuing. But something important to know is that you should really cleave with your right hand, and let the swing pivot at your left hand. You can get much more force in your swings that way! It's reeeeeal fun to see enemies float away after a heavy swing. Oh, and, don't write off the arenas! Later on they're the best way to make lots of money, since you can take care of them faster than Dungeons and often get lots of money for it. Just a little bit ago I earned 1200 Coins from a Difficulty 4 (4 Waves) Arena battle!

Nice vid as always! Tho take it from someone who has played B&S since it came out on quest, you might wanna work on your stabbing, try not to go for the head for now bc the chest is easier to stab, plus, when using a two handed sword like you have (blood) it’s easier to parry with one hand, then grabbing the handle to attack. Also with bows, i like to aim with the arrow itself, meaning line your shot with the arrow’s tip, make sure it is pointing at the target and let go. (Ik this sounds like basic advice, but it’s advice nonetheless)

He needs the inferno staff ability from the grand fire crystal for that, first. But you're right, its an absolute blast once you get it. Even four skull dungeons are a cakewalk with that. Gravity hammer is even better, imo. Grab an enemy with a gravity staff and throw him into another enemy, the walls, ceiling, or just out into the ocean. Or even just as high as you can toss em.
