Ohhh!!!Bless your heart. Thank you for reacting immediately to my latest request. Indeed!!No one sings like DIONNE WARWICK. . She understands music like no one else which makes her a very unique singer. The way she uses those dynamics, crescendos and decrescendos and all those musical aspects, is beyond incredible. Thank you, thank you, thank you😊😊💕

Hello ...Thanks ! I was at this fabulous concert at the Théatre de l'Empire in Paris in 1976. Dionne Warwick was doing a European capital every day. In Paris, she did a first concert that started around 8pm, and then a second one at 10:30pm... She is probably one of the greatest vocalists I have ever seen in my life... Thank you for reminding me of this wonderful moment ....

Dionne is, was and will always be the best. Every word is clear in everything she sings, she adds meaning to every song she sings. Ms. Warwick never uses vulgar language or dance moves to entertain an audience. I hope you also have time to look into Shirley Bassey and Nancy Wilson.

Please stop saying Dionne Warwick is underrated. She is not. She is a world-renowned STAR. She has been a very big deal for a very long time. Younger generations recently becoming aware of her musical prowess is a wonderful thing though. - Here is just a little historical context - DIONNE WARWICK is one of the most successful female artists in the history of popular music. In 1969, Ms. Warwick became the 1st black artist to win a Grammy in the pop category for DO YOU KNOW THE WAY TO SAN JOSE. Warwick ranks among the 40 biggest U.S. hit makers between 1955 and 1999, based on her chart history on Billboard's Hot 100 pop singles chart. She is the second-most charted female vocalist during the rock era (1955-1999). She is also one of the most-charted vocalists of all time, with 56 of her singles making the Hot 100 between 1962 and 1998 (12 of them Top Ten), and 80 singles in total - either solo or collaboratively - making the Hot 100, R&B, or adult contemporary charts.

Dionne was holding out on us. That said is this a hal david burt bacharach song? It doesn't seem that way. Burt and hal david music didn't allow for vocal gymnastics. But they were the most difficult in the sense of breathing, time signatures and measures. As Dionne herself said going to a hal and burt recording was like taking an exam. She is indeed gifted and no one has her texture you can pluck her voice from a musical line up with ease.

She was Burt Bacharach‘s muse throughout the 60’s - hell shes hardly underrated sheeesh she was MASSIVE before anyone else pure royalty - ppl who make this stupid statement just because they don’t know an ounce of musical chronology. By the time of this video she already had Grammies and No1 hits for over a decade.

Idk, Dionne seems to stay out the limelight after her run in the back days, almost feels self imposed. I think that’s why she’s so underrated and almost forgotten, but she def made her impact

Exactly. I’ve always knew about Dionne. But, I didn’t hear or seen much her in the 90’s. A little in the 80’s cause of “That’s what friends are for”. But, when I started reacting to her I JUST discovered this vocal savage. Wow. Definitely underrated. 💯🙌🏿
