I have a problem with the last question. Sure ACLs are on Subnet-Level while Security-Groups are on Instance-Level BUT you don't control OUTBOUND traffic in stateful Security-Groups since everything which was let through coming in is also to be automatically accepted to leave the group again. ACLs which are stateless you can (and have to) also control the OUTBOUND rules which means you can define a different ruleset for outbound traffic than inbound.

Last question is not right from my perspective. You can't control OUTBOUND traffic in security groups because they are stateful. ACLs can (and have to be configured) that way which means you are forced to define a ruleset for in AND outbound traffic rules which might differ (control). In security groups you can just control inbound and outbound is automatically taken over from ruleset of inbound.

On q 19, it says the word "query" shouldn't this go with a database service instead of simple storage service? Also i would like to ask, it looks like aurora is cheaper or even the same price as EBS, but aurora sits on the top of EBS, does that mean that using Aurora you have the Aurora costs+ EBS?

ooh yes, using s3 select you can run sql queries on top of s3 data. No need to setup any database, since the usecase is just to query server logs, s3 select should do. Aurora provides 2 pricing options - Pricing by database instances - With Aurora, you can choose Amazon Aurora Serverless, which automatically starts up, shuts down, and scales capacity up or down based on your application's needs; you pay only for capacity consumed. Alternatively, you can choose Provisioned On-Demand Instances and pay for your database per DB instance-hour consumed with no long-term commitments or upfront fees, or choose Provisioned Reserved Instances for additional savings. Instance charges apply to both Aurora primary instances and Replicas. The charges will vary based on the database cluster configuration you choose to best match the price-performance and price-predictability needs of your application. All instances in a database cluster will either be charged the price for the Aurora Standard or Aurora I/O-Optimized configuration. Pricing by database storage and I/Os - Aurora storage is billed in per GB-month increments at the rates shown in the following table for the Aurora Standard and Aurora I/O-Optimized configurations. With Aurora Standard, you pay for the storage and I/O operations that your Aurora database consumes. I/O charges may vary significantly depending on workload and database engine.
