This is best way for understanding RCU/WCU. I was watching course from udemy(stefane) but I have to do KZbin to understand this. I’ve searched multiple video in different tabs, your is first video, now I’ve closed other tabs as this video is sufficient

An alternative approach for calculating an Eventually Consistent RCU is to divide it by 8. For example for item size 10KB, the nearest to 4KB is 12KB, 12/8 = 1.5

dynamoDb provisioned vs onDemand pricing is silly and a waist of time. Simply avoid dynamoDb because it is just too complicated to get the costing right and not worth the headache.
