The challenge labs are only hands-on labs, it is not a full course for exam prep. It is a great add-on tool to improve your hands-on skills.

Hey man, why do you skip some vital information? How would application data is synchronized between instances in case of scaling? If there is a SQL database in one instance and a request is routed to that instance and a CRUD operation happens. The data will persist in that particular instance ,but how would that data synchronize between instances

In that case use a shared database and let your application instances feed off of a single database. RDS will be great for that.

That could be the reason. You may not need to modify the permissions on Windows
