To make it the best, ideal bar you need to add one more feature that for me is super important - moving clam cleat. It's not only super important for smaller persons with shorter arms but from my perspective it's amazing for different styles of riding. For waves or foiling I love to have it far while for normal riding prefere much shorter depower.

Had the Dreamstick X for 6 months now and it's an awesome but it has one major design issue for me. I loop a lot so the auto--unwind is fantastic and the bearing system is super smooth. BUT ... when looping (heli-loop, down-loop, kite-loop) then every so often the bar "bites" into the mono-block if you crank the bar too much. This happens at exactly 45 degrees. So at 50 degrees the bar won't slide on the block and thus you cannot add power or de-power mid loop. Maybe they can widen the aperture of the guide-hole by 1mm to increase the bar angle before it 'bites' say 55 or 60 degrees. Anyone got any fix ideas?

@Damien Girardin have u guys tested the bar in the snow? does the monobloc keep its flexibility during cold conditions? Does it stick like the Click Bar by Duotone?

Snow is not our primary focus, however we have picked the monobloc's material to work in freezing temperature, and up to hot sunny tropical weather. The plastic we ended up picking from our German supplier is also commonly used in the snowboard industry. The unique design of the monobloc allows for great freedom of movement ("sheet in n out" and steer at the same time) even when it's dry, it for sure works even better when it's wet as water adds extra lubrication. In the end, for the snowkiting application, and specifically the "stickiness" I'm pretty confident that you will find it working very well.

I see this Quick Release on a lot of different bars lately is it some kind of standard since the new regulations are in effect?

That mono block is huge. How does it feel in between fingers? What do we want to sacrifice for spinning your center lines.

Hi Serge, Kevin rides with the depower between his fingers all the time and absolutely loves the monobloc. It is actually quite narrow so really does not feel any different than a regular depower line when it’s in between your fingers.

@@damkitu why did you guys decide to release this 2 months after the v2 bar :( Had the v1 bar for a year and bought v2 as soon as it was available from the local distributor and now this comes out..

@@archiekras6668 thanks for your support! V2 was released in March 2021, so that was about 8 months ago. Furthermore, we are not stopping DreamStickV2, as it such a good control system. Honestly in the end, I was too excited about this DreamStickX so after almost a year and half of design and testing we decided to release it as soon as we were 100% ready, and that was now.
