GREAT VIDEO, just saved me so much time by watching this. love the graph that corresponds every parameter change in the Fractal Off to watch the first tutorial. By the way, your presets are outstanding.thanks for making these vids !!!

@@LeonTodd Thanks for that.... Also could you make/or give information on how do we control all the parameters via expression pedal instead of tap dancing. Like controlling the mid boost and volume with expression pedal all at once. (Heel down 0 mix (kinda bypass).... Toe down .. desired mix) You did mention about it briefly in Part 2, but how do we control multiple parameters via one expression pedal.

@@MoeedKazi assign them to the same controller and use the modifier menu to control the range of each effect. I'll have to do a video about controllers.

@@LeonTodd Thanks for the info, don't go out of the way to do it, if you happen to make another tutorial include this topic (if you can) as per your convenience. No pressure :)

Good idea

Good stuff, Leon. As far as how much boost you want for a solo goes, in a one guitar band (like Ragdoll), a 3dB boost might be enough. In a two guitar band or maybe a band with keyboards or backing tracks, a solo boost might need to be more like 5 or 6 dB. And as you covered, it also depends on the EQ curve as well. Great video, mate.

That's a really good point actually, I usually do have to boost a little more on the odd occasion i find myself doing a gig with more than one guitar player.

Leon Todd, sort of relates to my earlier question about a “global boost”, as in something you could adjust, that every preset (not scene) automatically updates to? I believe I’ve seen the Axe Fx II at some point had “global blocks”? Any suggestions how to tackle that? Cheers and keep up the awesome work!

You’re vids are awesome, keep it up. Hey is there anyway to tackle a global boost that could be modified in one block or area and have it carryover to multiple presets? Now, if we could just sort out the Aussie supply of AX8’s, that’d be perfect :( Cheers! MWM

Another super helpful video! Thanks! Do you have any recommendations for a rack unit to put the Axe III in?
@LeonTodd6 жыл бұрын
The SKB shallow racks seem to be pretty popular

Love all your videos, but for the life of me, I can't get the expression pedal to work JUST as a boost without it controlling the whole volume. I've got one wha pedal and want the second one just for solos. Tried volume block, filter block, peq block. Ugh. I'll keep watching your videos though. Love the tones.

Would be cool to see a video where some AX8 tones are translated ysing a real guitar cabinet as well. ;) a little bump for those who use the AX8+Cab setup. :p
