Thank you for watching my video. I found this old axe head on eBay and ordered it without hesitation, with satisfying results. The rust on the axe was more extensive than I had anticipated, indicating its poor condition due to years of corrosion.
As I worked on restoring the axe, I found myself wondering, 'Where has this been buried, and for how long?' I considered maintaining the axe in its current state as perhaps the perfect restoration. I decided not to smooth out the surface.
Additionally, I chose to embed an old coin in the handle to give it a unique design. I didn't want the coin to roll away and get lost, so I wanted it to transform into a piece of art.
I'm pleased with the outcome. The axe blade is sharp enough to have nicked my finger, but thankfully, I didn't suffer any serious injury.
Anyway, thank you for watching the video.

KZbin recommended me your last video about the hammer, I was shocked that you had less than 1000 subscribers! The quality of your videos is amazing and I really admire the love and effort you put into your work. I hope you continue making these for a long time. I'll continue to watch them as long as you're making them! Much love from Canada Also, you seem like a pro so you probably already are aware of this, but I've heard of camera sensors that have been damaged from bright lights like lasers or welding torches. I'm not sure if the torch you're using is bright enough to cause any damage, but I would hate to see your camera get ruined from making these videos so I figured I should bring it to your attention just in case you didn't already know! Thank you for the amazing content!

Hello! I'm glad you enjoyed my video, and thanks for considering my camera too. Honestly, I hadn't thought about the damage to the camera lens. I'll definitely put a protective lens on it for the next welding session. Have a nice day :)

Soviet Zik axe. The stamp was usually stped deep on the cheek telling it's manufacturer and year made. Made btn 1940 and 1968, they had a 21" birch handle. Own one of them myself.

Тріщину на обусі треба широко розточувати на всю глибину і проварювати кілька разів з наступним відпуском металу, щоб зняти напруження сталі.
