Axe Woves Hasbro Black Series Helmet Review

Hey Collectors! The new Axe Woves Hasbro Black Series helmet has arrived! This is another reuse of the Boba Fett helmet mold, specifically the Death Watch version without the dent, but I'm glad to have another character to display on the shelf. The color saturation on this one is great, and so is the amount of weathering. What do you think of this helmet and what helmet would you like to see Hasbro make next?

Mine came in yesterday, I agree with you on the electronics to save a few dollars. These helmets are slowly creeping up in price every year.

Yeah. I'm just not seeing the benefit of the electronics unless it's really something important to the helmet, like if the character had a light up visor or something. At least it didn't come at the cost of an ugly battery panel this time. What Black Series helmet would you like to see next?

Hope this helped you make up your mind! Not a core must-have helmet for everyones collection (Stormtrooper, Vader, Luke X-wing, Boba Fett, Mando) but definintly a cool addition if you're looking to fill out your collection!

Had this on order but cancelled it when they announced the Sabine helmet. Getting low on available space so I need to be careful and which helmets take the last few spots.

I get that. I would go with Sabine over this one too, but Sabine is top tier for me. What Black Series helmet would you like to see next?

@@StarWarsCollected I was shocked that they announced Rex because it is so unique. I thought they would ride the Clone II train like they have Boba Fett. With that said, I would love a Jesse or Cody helmet.

Great question! I can't say that I think that one will happen. It's so different that they can't reuse existing molds to make it or repurpose it later to make others. I'd recommend checking out etsy, eBay, or facebook to find a maker that fits your budget. Good luck!

I have the costume, but I've never put it on myself! It would probably be pretty ideal on me... not sure I could handle all that POWER!

I bought the Boba and prototype helmets but probably won't add any of the other repaints to my collection. I'm just not that into the turn the Mandalorian series has taken and these characters mean very little to me. I'm hopeful that they might reissue the scout helmet at some point with internal battery access instead of the ugly exterior one, but that's just me dreaming.

I gotcha Thomas! I wish the retaking of Mandalore had been bigger in scale, like a LoTR battle or something with tribes of surviving Mandalorians from all over the galaxy returning to retake an entire planet. I'm with you on the Scout Trooper helmet if you saw my video. I just keep telling myself I won't see it when it's on display... but I'll know it's there... I'll know... What Black Series helmet would you like to see next?
