I like it so much because it preserves that spirit of the original and improves the song by a lot! It’s like harold faltermeyer sat down a few years later and wrote this exact piece to improve it

This is one of the best remixes I have ever heard of this piece! I've often thought the original was the perfect car audio "display" song. Man you've done it justice! :P (30 minutes later)....I'm STILL listening to it over and over! It's like I'm looking for a flaw and can't find any! Every note is so crisp with that dead silence in the background....just amazing.

One of my favorite comedies, period. Eddie Murphy was tailor-made for the role. And the dialogues on that, oh, the dialogues. The most spicy one being: "How would you like The IRS come up here and crawl up your f****g ass with a microscope". Let me tell you, from the point of view of a Polish language speaker: this is one of the funniest things you could get in the movie, if you can only translate it well into Polish. I know you probably don't speak Polish, but my translation of the dialogue had a lot to do with colonoscopy. Pity they don't make cop movies like that anymore, in which you could've had people throwing lines like that. I tell you, from my point of view, these movies were a lot more true to life than what we have today. I also hope that this comment won't be lost in the mist like the last one.

Did you know that actually they wanted Sylvester Stallone for that role? I just heard that and then they picked Eddy Murphy and he became a comedy star. It’s was his break-through. He was really funny in that role. One of my favorite 80s comedy movies. And a fantastic score by Harold Faltermeyer!

@@clmcmusic Yeah, I've heard about that. But, to be honest, that would have been a terrible miscast. Stallone just isn't suited for this kind of movies.
