I love how erika is pointing out the little things(like axel's tears that i missed) and answering some of sarah's questions to make sarah's experience more immersive while at the same time not giving too much away to retain the level of confusion throughout the game.

55:20 I love that Sarah finally learns that Namine is Kairi nobody! (Rechain does give a lot of hints of that but I think Sarah didn’t get the context during that playthrough so it flew over her head). Plus I guess the fact that Namine and Kaiir don’t sound the same probably didn’t help.

22:36 The reason his voice seems different here is because this is a final mix cutscene which was never dubbed to English until like 2014 while the original KH2 was released back in 2006. Same voice actor but voicing the scene took place 8-9 years later. On my previous comment, I'd like to add: Namine is Kairi's nobody, she came into existence (or non-existence) when Sora stabbed himself with the keyblade to free Kairi's heart back in KH1. That result in the birth of both Roxas and Namine. That is why Namine have the power to manipulate Sora's memories and those around him.

Personally, I think it's great to both because playing the game allows Sarah to experience the full story, and watching the movie allows Sarah to experience the awesome voice cast and the characters' emotional journey.

So the reason why Kairi never became a Heartless is because she's a princess of light. While she can lose her heart, she did create a Nobody when her heart was brought into Sora's body. This is also why Namine has power over Sora's memories as she had ties to his heart when she was created.

Kairi did not turn into a heartless because she didn't have any darkness in her heart because she is a Princess of Light. Beings with no darkness cannot become a Heartless. Her heart was in Sora until he used the Keyblade of Peoples' Heart on himself. That released Kairis heart, which cause Sora to produce both Roxas and Namine when he turned into a heartless.

There is lots of info that Sarah could read from the secret Ansem reports, I don't know if you do read them behind the scenes, anyway, I've been wanting to say the following for Sarah, despite that I am late for it, yet it's still won't hurt saying it, I hope she reads it: Organization 13 is a group of 13 nobody (nobodies don't exit and lack hearts), those who have the strongest hearts that they were able to keep their bodies. They command all other nobodies and their main goal is to collect the hearts using the keyblade, these hearts gather in one place all together to form "Kingdom Hearts" (another version of KH different from the one that was seen at the end of KH1). They claim that they plan to use KH to get hearts for themselves and become whole again so they can exist and have emotions. As for the members they are in the next order: - Number I, Superior of In-Between, Xemnas (human name, Ansem/Xehanort), the nobody type he commands: Sorcerer. - Number II, Freeshooter, Xigbar (human name, Braig), Weapon: Sniper. The nobody type he commands: Sniper. - Number III, Whirlwind Lancer, Xaldin (human name, Dilan), Weapon: Wind. The nobody type he commands: Dragoon. - Number IV, Chilly Academic, Vexen (human name, Even), Weapon, Ice. The nobody type he commands: Unknown. - Number V, Taciturn Stalwart, Lexaeus (human name, Aelues), Weapon: Rocks. The nobody type he commands: Unknown. - Number VI, Cloaked Schemer, Zexion (human name, Ienzo), Weapon, Illusion. kinda fun thing with the Nobodies that specifically match up with Organization members, all of them are based on classes that have been in Final Fantasy games (though Marluxia's is the funniest for this, seeing as Reaper wasn't a job in an FF until two years AFTER KH3, when it was added to FFXIV) given this, i feel it'd be safe to assume that Zexion would have Scholar, Lexaeus would have Warrior, and Vexen would be, ironically, Paladin.

@@Iffem I wish that someone can directly ask Nomura what could be the names and figures for the lesser nobodies of those 3. It's out of place to never include the CO team's nobodies in KH2, nor Xemnas ever use their weapons which makes zero sense. If only COM was not a gamecube release, transferring assets would have been easier.

@@greenth-mac2550 if you're referring to Xemnas using all the other Org members' weapons, the reason for that is that he himself doesn't have the ability to do that... the only time he does it is when he's fused to The Castle That Never Was in it's dragon form. he doesn't do it in 358/2, in the memory's skyscraper fight, the zebra coat fight, nor in 3. as for which FF titles the Nobodies pull from, it'd be mostly the ones with explicit Job systems (so stuff like III, V, X-2, XI, and XIV)

I've always hated some of Axel's dialogue here. It really kills the scene for me. Like, A: We literally already know everything he tells us about kidnapping kairi and that Saix has her. That conversation already happened many hours ago in the game, so it's stupid for him to recap it. and B: The entire concept of "he made me feel like I had a heart" is a completely nonsense phrase. You literally CAN'T "feel like you have a heart" unless you already DO have a heart, because a heart is the canonical prerequisite for feeling emotions in this universe. In other words, there are only two possibilities: Either Axel had a heart the whole time, and that's why he felt feelings, or he never once "felt like he had a heart", because he didn't have one. There objectively AREN'T other possibilities. It's such badly written dialogue for that reason and it irks me because Axel is an otherwise badass character.
