I'm so friggin excited for this! I just pre ordered mine through Larry’s RC in Sterling Heights (great guys over there). The better shocks, aluminum link plates for added durability, 17 MM hex's, spare wheel & tire included, and an included SWAY BAR! Took about 60 seconds to realize this thing was my new RC dream. I was in between buying the RTR Yetti and the E-Revo Brushless and had planned to get the E-Revo Brushless this week as soon as Larrys RC got them in stock... sorry Traxxas, I love you too, but I'm giving Axial the nod on this one and going to get the Yeti Xl Kit. I enjoy building the kits and most everything is RTR now. Axial hit it out of the park with this one! Can't wait for it to come in!

Wow, not only does this blow away the RTR video with the handling/performance that should have been expected, the kit seems to be a great value so far. I love my RTR Yeti still, but if you've been looking at it for a while I'd hold out for the kit here.

I find it funny that the Yeti XL has a weight box mounted hi in the rear of the chassis and also a rear tire mounted hi in the body to get it to perform as it should. I bet it's a nightmare as a crawler. They should "can it" and build a Wraith XL! Then wait for the kit so that you get the parts that should have came with it in the first place!

So with the kit there is no 2 speed transmission, no lockers and some really nice tires on rims that don't hold up well. Yup the Traxxas Summit still has this beat. Now is I could get a Summit with the Yeti 380 body, it would be a good looking Summit. Throw in these Falkon tires on a set of Pro-Line Racing 272203 Tech 5 3.8 40 Series Black 2.75 Wide 0 Offset 17mm Wheel and it would BAD ASS!

Wow Thanks Axial for kicking us Yeti XL RTR owners in the face......I mean you guy release a better yeti that has all the upgrades and also doesn't have that crazy chassis twist !!! plus 200 bucks cheaper.... This was my first and last Axial purchase..........

Its not that many upgrades to get to make it run like that! Pretty much the rear sway bar and better shocks fix the issues. I knew getting mine that i would have to get upgrades off the bat with this just like all the 1/10th yeti rtr guys had to do many upgrades to theirs. Its a cold money sucking world but these are meant to be upgraded!

T Dactyl I hear ya bro but I've owned so many other R/C's and I still have 31 R/C's right now and I can say the Yeti XL was my worst purchase in the last 19 years I've been in the hobby. This is my first and last Axial product but It doesn't matter now I just traded it for a brushless 1/5 Hpi Baja which I love.... I know others may not feel the same way I do but I'm done with Axial !

Why does the right wheel not go up 3 to 4 inches of the ground when you drive yours? All the videos show the XL's right wheel lift off the ground! But Yours doesn't do that!!! Why?

plus when I run my bigger battery in my car for some reason at full speed does this sometimes the rear wheels start to do jittering movement at fullspeed whats wrong?

I have one and it dominates rocks, i climbed 22 steps at a apartment complex stairs with ease! Never seen another crawler do that!

only if you buy it from them, they are way over priced, look at the castle website, you can get it for half that, and other retailers have the kit for 470. Not that expensive for what it is.

Piece of shit. I have never crashed mine....Mamba X w 6s will break All drivetrain on these ...lucky I get a full out my packs before failures occur. Upgraded parts included. They probably went thru 3 cars to get thru this video
