If i gone use mainly the first gear,,can i just lock it in that gear with some tye rap,,i use to remove the dig in my capra and jam it locked on all 4 wheels with this method cause those smalls servo sucks.

Yes they do suck! I now have mine fixed in low gear. I placed a piece of aluminum across where the servo mounts and bolted the shift rod to it. I've thought about coming up with a way to select it manually but haven't got around to it yet

Hey.. which servo did you end up getting for this.. is it the Spectrum SX107 ?

I love the 2 speed conversion. Low gear is great. I rarely use high gear. Also having issues with the shift servo. It doesn't want to hold in 2nd.

Yes. First gear is all you need. I'm having the same issue with holding 2nd. Need a transmitter that you can trim. About a half a tooth of on servo horn from being positioned correctly @

@@hellorc7678 I have a Radiolink rc6gs. My problem isn't the trim adjustment. I think it's the servo. Worked great for a couple weeks. Had the chassis off and could watch the servo shift to neutral after hitting the throttle a couple times.

Nice. I was considering getting that but not sure if there's is much point. Is it worth getting it? Because I'm not sure how often I would use the low speed, since all the 3 differentials are opened and the only point of changing to low speed is if I also upgrade to lock differentials to full time locked and a sensored motor, the stock Spektrum 2050kW motor is sensorless. Let me know how it drives and what you think buddy. 🤔👍🏼

I would have to say do it! Drove it a little last night and it is much better. My rear diff is locked and i have 20 million weight in center diff. Might put it in the front now too. Set mine up so it is in low and third channel shifts to second. Torque twist is much more controllable now. I can use full range of throttle and maintain control. Can't wait to get it out again today!

So this 2 speed kit goes in the factory transfer case? This might be a better route for me than buying a kit ryft. Wanted the kit for this reason but buy time I buy all my components and 2 lockers still I was going to be well over a rtr. And this kit looks like its around $25?
