Hey I love all the editions of the scx 10 the c channel chassis should never be changed. Awesom axial. But again I say you need to give us new axle housings with a removable pumpkin. Like the wraith housings but with scx dimensions. Everyone with a scx10 would buy them. That's the only thing that needs upgraded. Of coarse realistic trannys and transfer cases would rock too.

SCX10 = AWESOMENESS running any body !!! I run the SCX10 Chassis and drive train simply because it does everything I tell it to !!! So I am thinking that it's time to build a 1410 1Y 3'800KV Dingo burning 3S, to see if I can get the little 2.2" Ripsaws 8" tall, or blow the Tires off the Wheels... Thanks Axial for building such an AWESOME PLATFORM !!! ;) I'll get back to ya, about how the Tire Ballooning goes... 😈

I plan on buying one of these soon. Only issue I have with this model is the lack of a rear bumper. That shell would not take a lot of hits I don't think. I plan on getting a back bumper soon after purchase from somewhere like Integy.

I think axial is starting to turn into traxxas with all their different rereleases of the same truck.. al. You guys are doing is changing the body, tires and name. Thats the customers part :)

I think there just giving options for people want something different straight out of the box. I think they should even use the platform for a scale Chevy ford dodge Toyota. All of them would be cool for these buyers. Even though I like to build mine to my liking so I always start with a dingo kit and sell the lid on eBay painted up nice and use the kit to build what I want. Some people just want to buy it like they want.

Now I'm not sure on the exact percentages but I know you can look all over KZbin and see videos of SCX RTR's in bone stock trim or close to it. Some of us love to customize our rigs, I know I do but unlike several other platforms in this hobby the SCX works great right out of the box and doesn't require immediate mods to perform well. That being said I think it's great that they're giving the consumer more style options. If you really think about it the SCX is already a proven platform so the fact that they're re-releasing it over and over again isn't really helping them to sell the trucks. To me it feels like they're trying to give us options on a proven platform. I am curious to see if this is released with the AE-5 waterproof ESC, metal tranny gears, and 32p gears like the SCX Deadbolt as I believe those upgrades to the platform were long over due and a welcome change. I see a lot of hate in the comments here but I think you guys are missing the point completely. I think Axial is being unselfish and trying to please the consumers. Good work Axial!
