Axial SCX10iii Upgrades! Brass portals, overdrive gears, and panhard mount!

Upgrade time for the Axial SCX10iii!
To help the truck turn tighter, and crawl over things more, plus be a little stronger - I am throwing a bunch of parts at the front end of the truck.
1 - TOPCAD 300g of brass portals: amzn.to/32HvCRM
2 - Aluminum panhard mount: amzn.to/3dLh2PB
3 - Overdrive portal gear set: www.ebay.com/i...
These three things together, really help this truck perform better.
After showing the install, I show some back-to-back test runs of before/after the upgrades.

Great Upgrades to the SCX10.3 Gladiator, Definitely on my list of vehicles. On long wheelbase rigs, overdrive front diffs are a "MUST-HAVE". Bravo, my brother!

No, I think it will be fine. These weight I have on here is a lot, but it works very good.

NO!!!! Weight all goes to the front. Remove as much weight from the rear as possible!

Great video as usual but your problem is not overdrive, or lack there of. Your problem is your tires and your foam setup. I highly encourage you some voodoo klr or proline Krawlers with a proper foam setup. That gladiator will thank you.

I really want to try a set of those klr tires. Just haven't gotten there yet. Yes, these tires are probably not the best crawler tire, but I am pleased with how well they do overall.
