They’re so fun! The other 24’s are great but the gladiator is king, with that wheelbase. I can’t wait to show off the blue one later this week. I’ll get some footage. The driver, Kraig, put some massive tires on it and trimmed the body. It’s a monster!

It was a super fun progression! Picking up the Traxxas today and we starting all over! I tend to think that I would like to leave this one scale but we’ll see. I’d like to see Traxxas come out with a winch. I’m loving the fcx24 axles for performance but you never know what’s gonna happen. Plus, we’ll have the smashers with speed motors, hopefully next week. Thanks! We were running at Waterloo park, under the new bike/walking path. We park at the national guard parking lot fifty yards away. It’s fun for modified 1/10 and perfect for 1/24.

Thanks! I’ve tried to get a link and for whatever reason they don’t pull up on Walmart’s website. It’s actually a “no brand” badge retractor found at Walmart in the jewelry department. Sold in pairs for less than $5. Be sure to test it before you buy it. Some work smoother than others.

These are the winch reels I use.. The more expensive ones have a metal case.. I like the plastic ones if fitting under the body you can sand them down to make them a tad smaller
