I added some of my favorite metal upgrade parts to the Axial SCX24 Deadbolt. If you don't want to watch the whole video you need to at least skip to the end to see the final look of this thing, it's pretty sick!

This looks great! Thanks for sharing the information about the parts! After a lot of driving the SCX 24 maybe here is a quick little idea how to easily make the motor hold up longer. I would suggest removing the aluminum sticker the winds round the motor cause it helps in cooling the motor.
@jamiealan Жыл бұрын
Thanks for the tip. I actually upgraded the motor shortly after this vid.

It looks good! It would be nice to drive before/after to see the diff!

Enjoy! Yeah, I like Treal components but there are plenty others out there as well. I used some other brands on my C10 that I thought looked/worked better for that truck.

Nice, but you got your left front tire backward

Nice catch. I realized that after I made the vid and already fixed it.

@@jamiealan I did the same thing with one of my scx24s but havnt felt like taking off the million tiny screws from the beadlocks lmao I'll get to it eventually

He did that on purpose. He needs reverse traction boost. I'm betting the difference is completely negligible.

Looks awesome, I just bought a deadbolt and will be doing some of these mods. One question though, why didn’t you use loctite on all those screws going into metal? Have any come out on you?
@jamiealan5 ай бұрын
I haven't had any issues with the screws getting loose or coming out. Have fun with your build!

I added injora diff covers and plus 4 axle and now I have a bad binding jump in the truck especially when back and turning do you know why I'm thinking the plus 4 axle
@jamiealan2 жыл бұрын
Yeah, I just added the HR plus 4 axle myself. A lot of people are complaining about the same thing happening after they instal it. I haven't had the issue, yet. If I do, I'll probably get rid of them.
@rc4life3152 жыл бұрын
Update it isn't the axles it's my diff covers screwed down to tight so for the ppl having this trouble loosing your diff cover if you have after market

Knuckles on the wrong side

It would appear that way because Yeah Racing engraved a batch of these knuckles with their logo upside down. But they are on the correct way. I suppose you can say that I have a rare set ;)

Most parts are compatible. a couple are not such as the high clearance links and the drive shaft which are a different size on the C10.

Do you have a list of the parts and where you got them?
@jamiealan Жыл бұрын
Unfortunately I do not have a list but at the beginning of the video I verbally list out each part so I suppose you could google them and find them that way. I found a lot of the parts on Amazon, Amain Hobbies and one or two on Ebay.

I would love to get a Link list of all these parts and where you got them. Also to know how much total it cost (minus the truck).
