I just got two of those Honchos, they're due to arrive tomorrow. I'm intending to put caddx systems in them so my elderly folks can use them as FVP avatars to cruise around their rural property together.

It’s a really fun truck. I found a used one in great shape for half price. That truck is $1600 in Canada, so I jumped on it. Fine Laser Designs makes a clipless latch for the front , you can open and close with one hand, no more pins . Mickey Thompson Baja pro X also recommended, have fun with it !!

Oh nice! Yeah it’s odd that the price is heavily increased for Canada, must be an import tax or something. That is a good recommendation for tires as I was looking at upgrading. Are those good for both trail and light rock crawling? I was looking at those and also the Pro-Line Hyrax’s.

@@TheUserReview yes those tires are more aggressive than a hyrax. Great for trailing, mudding, dirt , rocks. They come with good foams too. I kept the stock tires and put proline dual stage foams , made a huge difference

My scx6 is by far my most expensive rc, and also my favorite. I should have just built it from scratch, it would have been much cheaper. Now I nearly have enough stuff to make a second scx6, just need a transmission, rails and shocks. I'm hoping they come out with a lightweight single speed transmission and some carbon rails with a front bias skid with links and driveshafts... Oh I can dream... A 1/6 VRD carbon 👍

Trust me I know the feeling, I did the same thing with my SCX24 comp. builds. I also would like to see more aftermarket parts for this truck as there is surprisingly not many available. Thank you for stopping by and commenting!

@@bassingbasics6621 honestly that would be awesome. I have been hearing rumors that this truck is coming out with a V2 in the next year so I can’t wait to see what they come out with!
