Welcome back to the channel, Today's video is the first upgrades to the SCX6. We install the Proline Method 305 NV wheel faces that are discontinued. we also change out the stock foam inserts for the two stage foams in the Super Swampers.

Thanks Durp, glad i was able to locate a set in Canada, they always disccontinue a good thing, they have the silver still but no longer offer the bronze. ya winter is starting to hit us, will have to wait for its first run, just couldn't get find the time to get out when it was warmer.

Those wheels definitely give it a different look ! Great choice on color ! You can always take the spare off and get a weight comparison still .

Yessirr! I haven’t had an issue with the Swampers slipping on the Methods so far. Also, I changed the wheel hexes (to 9mm) due to the Swampers rubbing the fender & slider at full lock. The inner bar on the slider digs into the tire pretty gnarly. You’ll see (hear) what I mean. The lugs are loud when they catch. Chopped the end off of that bar & stuffed the sliders in as much as I could, along with the front bumper (drilled new holes for the pins/bolts). The body still closes with no issues. Helps approach angle a bit & the sliders dont hang up as much. So far this setup has been awesome for me. Not sure if I mentioned that previously, my apologies if I didn’t.

I just got in a set of +2mm Brass hexes that have given the clearance needed. thanks for watching, the methods are an awesome choice for the 6 just expensive choice but they look amazing on the Honcho.

Awesome wheels , those are what I wanted and was very disappointed that they discontinued them great find I went with the silver which are nice but not as nice as those 🤘🏼

I totally agree, they were not cheap but totally worth it. i go a set of black ones off of amazon for the Jeep as i like the black look on it better then the silver. they always discontinue the good stuff, not sure why they did that. thanks for watching and commenting.

I feel you with making videos to share what you like to do and not worrying about views. If I nay make a suggestion on center the view of the camera mark the spot you mount the camera above and then make some kind of marking on the work top to show the corner of the video fram and then you can just start working and hit record and if the camera in the spot you marked everything in the fram box on the worktop is in fram and centered

Yup its just about enjoying the hobby, thanks for the tip, makes sense I try to make sure the cowrc work mat is in the center of my shot. This video was a little harder to center as all the parts are so big. Thanks for watching and commenting the support is appreciated 👊👍

I have the stock tires falkin wild peak on my scx6 which tires should I upgrade to super swampers or micky Thompson Baja

I only have the swampers, but looking for a set of Bajaj I have been told they are amazing, the swampers are way better then stock also.
