Vanquish does not disappoint with their products. I like the different contrast of the black and silver hardware, but I do see you point on having all the same coloured hardware
@TheRCNetwork10 жыл бұрын
I guess for the pricing of the entire rear axle (over $200 once all the parts are collected) a complete hardware set would have been nice. I had at least 50% of the suppied silver hardware left over for optional items that were not used. I guess it's my OCD setting in

Vanquish does such an awesome job on their parts. Fit and finish is spot on! Looks amazing Brother! I have been wanting one of these for a while and I think seeing this just pushed me over the edge.

Nice. You'll like the Yeti, you may consider the Kit vrsion they just released yesterday
@JustAWrench46110 жыл бұрын
The RCNetwork I think that's a good idea. I'm the guy that likes building them a little more than running them. The market seems flooded with RTR's and for me that kind of takes the fun out of it. Not that RTR isn't nice sometimes, but my favorite part of the hobby is having a pile of pieces when I sit down and a functional RC when I stand up. Good times.

Good points. I guess I'll do a video of install and running video see how it holds up. It looks the part for sure.

Seems vanquish centre pumpkin axle is out. Good timing I broke my stock axle housing doing some ultra 4 style racing. Any running videos of the beast yeti you built

+17madracki17 I saw that.......Damn them! lol I knew they were coming out with it, but didn't want to wait. The CP would have been perfect for this rig, but I do wonder about the axles, floating diff locker and a truss? Does it come in a kit like the Currie's?
@MagRes50Cal8 жыл бұрын
they don't make these parts for the Yeti XL?... I just picked up the XL kit this morning looking to do this upgrade... now I'm depressed.

Hey man. With the OCP axle is there anything else I need to order to be able to install it correctly on my yeti or is it a direct replacement? Can I just order it and mount it right on my yeti with nothing extra? Please get back to me!:)
@TheRCNetwork9 жыл бұрын
+Malik The OCP Vanquish (V1) is a direct bolt on item. Keep in mind, you will be using your plastic lock outs, bearing holders, diff cover and suspension holders. Also, not all the hardware comes with the Vanquish OCP

What size bearing is necessary for the exterior facing (furthest away from the differential cover) hole? The bearing on the interior is a 5x14x5 but I am not sure what size the smaller bearing is.

+drarhiii It could be, but they're very finicky.
@drarhiii9618 жыл бұрын
First of all this is a great video! Thanks for doing this, and all I was saying was maybe those were the words you were looking for when talking about the trailing arms... @15:30 you said "they don't use a rod end at all...@15:33 you said "they have kind of a unique pri??....pur...???.. an item on here I can't think of the word".... I was thinking you meant proprietary design...I've stumbled over myself looking for these same words before in an important meeting...I just laughed to my self and thought...maybe that's what he meant to say also...?? Either way I'm not knit picking and it has nothing to do with your review and how awesome it is...just thought it was funny that's all. Thanks again! Keep up the good work!
