As I was reading Sky Mavis' new years letter I wondered if they had it auto generated by Corporate Bullshit Generator and I find it typical how excited channels that are not actually involved in the community are, compared to those who do play the game and run a scholarship etc. The Axie Marketplace turnover is down, their rewards token is in constant decline, Land or Kingdom (whatever they eventually decide to call it) has been postponed by up to a year from it's announced release last December and it has, so far, taken them several months to merely develop the next version of their battle cardgame. Also, common Axie NFT prices have dropped from $200-300 to $70-90, which makes an investment in these NFTs comparable to a hole in the ground.

Paul love your show right now Axie game itself is not doing well the community sentiment is just upset. alot of the players of this game got in because of the play to earn and right now those who bought axies are just in a dip hole. And devs not really addressing the concerns of the players and community is noticing. If this continues i think the game would collapse. And so as axie infinity token.

Community morale and sentiment is pretty low right now. I highly doubt that the DAU would increase further, especially if you base it in comparison to poplular triple A traditional games. Axie has almost reached something I'd call realistic DAU count. It could probably get at least 1m more people into the game (realistically), or it does the impossible and manages to break through and acquire 2x more active users, who knows? That said there are plenty of factors to consider... there are plenty of regions with strict crypto policies... axie has to break past that in order to acquire more users. I'm not being bearish, I'm just being realistic here.

In this video you forget about something important Axie is that strong because its the only game which isnt piece of shit, games after some time lose players if something diffrent appear for example Illuvium or this upgrade to 3D would be a bad implementation price will crash. Anyway I think Axie dev team know what they are doing Ronin was a great move because cancer ETH fee now doesnt kill this game (they could switch network to Matic) so maybe it wouldnt be that bad.

Please do more research. Slp is not about everything, also how will slp pump if there's no game update? the reason why slp value is decreasing is because of the current system of the game or how the game works. they need to update it especially the burning mechanics or other uses for slp

Guys, SLP is the P2E reward token. It is important because Axie Infinity became popular as a P2E game. Millions of people in developing countries would not be in this if it wasn't for the earnings. When SLP dumps, that's a key success factor dumping. The only intrinsic value of SLP is for use in creating more Axie NFTs. It's value is in constant decline because far more is minted to players than is burned to create more Axies. This is shown in the video at @17:07 and is a well known problem in the community.

Sky Mavis introducing new token while slp is continuously dipping isn't really a good prmeonition for investors. It says a lot, even the new token might be forsken by the developers just like what they did to slp.

But SLP people also use for diffrent things like liquidity pool, also not all of them sell it. But still this is to much of them and price of SLP is intended to collapse sonner or later. And users from developing countries would not play anymore. Its kinda interesting if this upgrade will change something because as long as there will be flow of new users this game wouldnt collapse that fast but if game lose popularity to diffrent game it will, and team wouldnt have any chance to stop it.

Fortunately I was cautious enough to keep an eye on it and quickly realized how it goes when you provide liquidity for a token that everybody wants to sell. - If I had not stopped as quickly as I did, I would have seen all my ETH swapped to more SLP (with the first swaps done at a higher rate, of course), as users of the pool swapped their SLP to ETH. The ability to have your AXS, USDC or ETH swapped for even more of the ever tanking SLP is hardly a quality to be considered.

I think Axie is in high risk of collapsing completely but Gala seem to have more sensible tokenomics for their rewards tokens and ingame economies. They have demonstrated their ability to deliver repeatedly which cant be said about Sky Mavis.

It's mostly Sky Mavis' near indefinite delay of both Land and Battles v2 that has me worried. Flashbacks to Duke Nukem Forever. I guess in a sense Axie not going anywhere is what I am worried about ;-)

I like to call it HODLer line after each ATH this line is higher. Even now this entire month price struggle in going down or up. I guess many still wait for bigger price if In january nothing happens I thing we can expect price collapse but max 10-15K will go down.

at least on gaming its trying to change how the industry works. instead of companies owning every gaming assets and you just pay for it. devs will build games around your assets. it is technically possible to play your nft characters with different games. if there is going to be a metaverse it will definitely start from blockchain gaming
