One thing I learned a long time ago was to never rely on a naval battle to win you the game, heck naval battles are too unpredictable even for the calculators. It's kind of a poorly kept secret among veteran AA players.. :) AVG was 3 hits for you on 1st round and 4 for him, so yeah you got hosed, but hopefully you've learned an important lesson about naval battles in this game.. Still watching though so not sure what happens after the US Rd1 turn.

Thank you for the tip sir :)! I have been schooled here for sure, I've never seen it go that bad for me. I can see why you don't base your entire tactic on a simple naval battle, I'm starting to like the attack on SZ 37 a little more now after that.

thats true. even playing lowluck you see this unpredictability. theres 2 reasons for that. subs and battleships. you have to calculate subs separatly in the average. and battleships have 2 hits but they dont roll 2 die.

its 5 hits, not 6. the transport dont need a hit on the first round. also subs are terrible on defense, i never expect my sub to hit on defense, unlike AA gun on SBR. you just rolled terribad on first round. probly hit once on first round and once on 2nd round of combat because clearly there was 2 rounds. crazy unlucky
