I remember seeing the "air power" comment too... Definitely true for the axis.

100%. It also forces the Allies to bring AA guns into the game.

I purchased the original box game in the mid 1980's. There was no Theater campaign, and no Italians. You were limited to either US, UK, GERMANY, SOVIET UNION or JAPAN. The board game pieces didn't look like that either and there were no mines, no trucks and no artillery. The naval units were also different.

Yes, the original A&A was very basic compared to today's offerings, but it was revolutionary in its own way! Thanks for commenting!

7:23 They threw in a Tiger because the optional rules allow for a Tiger,

Yeah, I figured that out when I read all the optional rules - I was just trying to understand the base rules first. Thanks for watching and commenting!

I am not sure but I think rommels last push you dont skip german turn 7 only if you do Operation torch scenario
@jamesboyce2460Ай бұрын
Thats why operation torch has a bunch of units for germans in tunis rommels last push you get to put german builds on turn 7 into tunis convoy that will land on turn 8
@TheHilltopPillboxАй бұрын
@@jamesboyce2460 Yeah, it seems as though I may have misunderstood that rule...certainly not a first time! But, I kinda made up for it by breaking the other rule that says "Axis forces may NOT go into Tunis until Turn 8" (page 28), so maybe that balanced it out? :)

42:00 The road is on the map for historical accuracy. You can't pass through Spanish Morocco in normal gameplay.

Yeah, I figured as much. Thanks for the confirmation!

A G40 is on the way, but might take some time. My opponent had a tragic loss, so he is taking some time away. We do hope to get it done in January, though. GW36 would be great, but more likely a GW39 in the next little bit. Stay tuned!
