Great job & analysis on your turns, in Hindsight the AC buy was a huge mistake yeah, I feel like the game was over say round 5 but you hung in there & fought to the finish, I admire that over ppl who just quit. Thanks for sharing the game mate, see you all out on the battlefield 👍

I feel with Japan on turn 2 when you got the confirmation that it is a KGF you need a 4th transport and prepare to save enough money to get 8 dudes and a Complex in Manchuria/Kwangtun. Buying the Carrier is a trade of exactly 14 IPC for 14 IPCs, the only thing you should not do is to get attached to the Carrier afterwards and just abbandon it because you do need fighters on the mainland. Going for Alaska is a Round 4 or 5 play you do in order to momentarily disrupt his Atlantic shuck and then take the guys from Alaska and take Hawai and later on move to New Zealand / Australia to snatch those IPCs. Because in order to efficiently grab Australia you either come via Hawai or you threaten an attack on India with posturing in Seazone 36.

It doesn't matter if you win that last battle with Russia. the game is still lost. Even if Japan takes Moscow if Germany has fallen, with proper lay that is a victory for the Allies.

Yeah the ac, and also the g fighters on the uk fleet. Can’t afford to lose those in g2. This also gave Russia way too much space in that r3 turn I think it was.

with 2 Russian tanks surviving it is more of a feel wheter or not I would want to have the 2nd AA gun in West Russia or moved into Ukraine, 3 tanks or more I always send the AA gun. But 2 tanks even with can be cleaned up too easy with Germany. Also I think if you go full on attack of the british fleet Round 1 I would take Iceland with 1 Infantry because the British will have harder times getting fighters to Moscow once he has to abbandon WR. And I think in the spiderweb of Germanies T1 Non Combat you didnt move a AA gun to Baltic states. About the calculator saying Submarine vs Destroyer is Implausible I dont know something wrong with the calculator or it may be the transport that its the calculation of killing both naval vessels which is the more less likely outcome given that it is a a 50% to survive. I am not so sure if moving the transport to 14 is a dumb move, UK would prefer having the destroyer with the rest of the Indian fleet. Personally I would not have left 2 tanks in France those are needed to go into Russia. As for UKs round 1 I am not really loving throwing 1 Infantry into Yunnan it usually is not a big commitment for Japan to kill it and it doesnt slow them down. UK fleet round 1 I am also no so sure I think you need to get some fighters to West Russia but the trade off is you can start trading territories with Germany early but with a small fleet like his it can be risky especially if for instance the very low chance occurs that US doesnt kill the sumbarine in seazone 10. I would have waited with the fleet for Round 2 personally but then I am not a Platinum Allies player. Overall solid plays early on, season ends soon so maybe we meet during placement games next season. And I think the most important thing is to learn from mistakes and adapt each game to be better

What a terribly balanced game , basically its a first round decision for the axis. And the allies can make that decision for them on their first round turns. Same was true for 1941 version , the only way for axis to win was the allies play stupid.

False. In league play, where you get a lot of good on good players, I believe Axis win 55% of the games.
