@@axis3d Sure, it's more a 1990s model than a 2020s one, but it still looks more modern and anatomically correct than the original from 1940.

I like how the *kyoryu(dinosaur🦖🦕🐉🐲)* designs are more accurate that 1940 fantasia itself.

Thank you! They did make another Fantasia movie back in the year 2000. Called Fantasia 2000. No dinosaurs, though.

I agree. Another one might be neat to see at this point. CGI has changed a lot in the last 24-25 years. But it would be nice to see an effort to do a traditional 2D cel-animated segment or two. I’m always amazed at people that can draw.

@@axis3d Exactly! Like I’d love to see the animation style they used in the Atlantis and Tarzan movies. But, the one who had that style died. I MISS the classic 2D.

It looks good. Although, I think we all know that, in real life, a T-Rex wouldn't just shrug off a hit from a Stegosaur's thagomizers. One well-placed strike from those sharp spikes... And he's dead.

I feel you Kevin. This was one of the things that made my childhood, especially with the dinosaurs. At times I wondered what it'd be like if someone ever reimagined it. You're getting there for sure. I bet the final version will be outstanding!

Thank you! And yes, dinosaurs are amazing. That's what made me want to get into the vfx industry. Bringing dinosaurs to life with stop motion animation is what got me through my childhood.

It was actually an allosaurus in this sequence. It had three fingers.

Actually, it was explicitly stated that the predatory dinosaur was in fact a t-rex. Walt intentionally had it have the inaccurate three-fingered hands because he felt it ‘looked scarier that way’.

Will you be continuing from where the original version of Fantasia's Rite of Spring left off, aka the rise of mammals after the extinction of the dinosaurs?

I hadn't planned on continuing with the rise of the mammals. I'll be lucky to get up to that point with how long this is taking. But that's an interesting prospect. I'll keep that in mind!
