Axl is a deep thinker & very intelligent. It's great to listen to his introduction to Elton John. I do wish that he had attended when GunsN'Roses were inducted into the Hall of Fame. He missed out on a once in a lifetime experience.

What I like about Elton is that he sees the good in everyone. He knows Axl is deep down a good soul and not a bitchy diva. He sent letters to Eminem while in rehab because he knew how he felt. He cast Robert Downey Jr. in his music video (RDJ is a good singer, ngl) when no one else would hire him. All of this because he went through everything too. People may call him old style, but I call him experienced.

you can tell he's been through hell here. this was his depressive period. Guns was going through hell, internal conflict, failed relationship​s, etc. gotta respect him for showing up and giving a respectable induction to Elton.

Axl's voice is so smooth when he speaks, and he so eloquent and articulate. I know he has a massive respect for Elton John, and he was an influence in Axl's piano playing and singing. Elton also admires Axl, even though he is a rock singer. It goes to show that age and different genres of music doesn't matter when you admire someone 🥰😍😘
