I am in the trial right now and was questioning the surgery, after I read your video I have decided I'm going through with it. Thank you you have been very informative and the company should be paying you.

I’ve commented before but I’ll comment again!! Thank you again for giving me the confidence to go through with my surgery! I’m 5 months mostly pain free ( I still have very very bad days.) I have Fowler’s Syndrome so when I found out that, I could hardly find any information on it due to it being rare. I had been through therapy , urethral dilation, and countless times of being cathed and having bladder instillations (they thought I had interstitial cystitis.) So of course, I felt like I was going in blind and had no information and was scared. So yes people are seeing your videos and you do impact people! Never forget that! I’m from a small town in Mississippi and still managed to come across your video! Keep doing what you’re doing - you’re helping someone!

That's amazing!!!!!!!!!!!! I can't believe it's been 5 months already, and to hear it's mostly been pain free, I'm so so happy to hear that!!!!! ❤️ I remember when you were second guessing it and it was really confusing and challenging but it was so worth it! And thank you for the support as well. I think of you time to time when I think of people I've helped along the way and I feel so honored to have been a huge part of your decision. ☺️ I want to make a positive impact, and with health it can be scary, especially since I'm not a doctor. But with my experiences, I am always just so excited to hear it's helpful. ❤️

Hi, I'm a Donna as well, and I see my uroloist this week about Axonics. Can you share if you had the trial first, and with that as well as the permenent device implant, what type anesthesia was used, as well as recovery time and what that was like? Thank you!

I just got the definitive Medtronic InterStim last Friday (the second surgery), and I'm super happy and seeing HUGE improvement and you hit me with this 😂 lol. The only thing is that right now I cannot squat while it's healing. I have a little pain but nothing too bad. I feel great and that's what matters 😊 And girl, you DO HAVE AN IMPACT!! I thought I was alone for a long time and I learned a lot from you + my great doctor.

Oh my 😂 well what's important is that you're already experiencing a huuuge difference and that's amazing. Plus, as far as I know, it's still pending fda approval in the united states. So you'd have to ask your doctor about it. Either way, congrats to the success!!!!! That's amazing!!!!! And thank you for the nice comments and support. I'm so glad I can help others with this kind of stuff ❤️

Thank you for this because my doctor I was going to put me on the same thing so seeing this I might ask them about this new product. Im really worried about the procedure so I think I'll ask the doctor about this. Thank you for all your help. Tell Jill I said thank you and thank you for this as well.

I'm so glad this helps!! Yeah definitely ask your doctor, they can give more information about the surgery and even just about axonics. I hope you can get it! :)

Well, I called them directly because I need this surgery badly and they haven’t bothered to call me back and now don’t return any of my calls.

why do they do a two week or several day trial period if you may not get results for 6 months or more? I just dont get that! How do you know to take it out during the trial or wait six months with a perm implant hoping it will work?
@starsINSPACE11 ай бұрын
As far as I know, you should get results within a week or two or using the trial device. After that the implanted device should work for years, but in some people it stops working randomly because the nerves just stop responding to the treatment.
@heatherfrye5375Ай бұрын
During the trial only the leads are placed in the body. The device is securely taped to your back. They do the trial to see if there are any improvements at all. If there is zero improvement, there is no need to implant the device and then have to remove it (the leads are very easily removed, kind of like getting stitches taken out). If there is some improvement, they then do a second procedure to implant the device.

Were you able to get Axonics?

I haven't been able to get Axonics yet, but I still am hoping to get it when it becomes available again in Canada. It's gone through some changes in availability since this video.

Hello I have recently participating in a study for the axonics. Unfortunately it did not work for me. I still suffer with one and have resigned to the fact that nothing will change. Do you have any suggestions?
