One of my memories of my misspent youth : In Toronto, the buses didn’t run all night. re Rust Never Sleeps..... The phrase was an headline for a 1970s Meineke Muffler print and billboard ad campaign. It was coined by DEVO's Gerald Casale and Mark Mothersbough who got the contract when they had a graphic design biz in Akron, OH.
