I bought a lease/ rental and I prefer to do all my own maintenance because of the shoddy work here in western Kentucky. Your video got my sub. Now, 2018 inscription t5 questions. Is there any place in settings where I can find out if the remote start has been disabled? And can it be reset? Thanks. I’m Long Island born and world travelled. ✌🏿🫶🏿🙏🏿

Is the remote start aftermarket? If not, look thru the menu. But I don't think you can reset it. Super thanks

@@AxtuoAx tried all the usual stuff in the manual. Looked at some videos. Someone suggested that lease cars have it disabled and another said lease cars don’t have remote start. Neither could say how to find out if it was disabled by factory or just software in the car. Just starting this investigation so I thought I would ask a smarter than me person. Oil Change soon brought me here. Cheers.

Either way it's disabled. So you gonna have to look for the device under the steering wheel. It's a pretty decent job to install one. From 1 to 10 of difficulty. I'll say 6-7. A Lotta wires. Where you from? Tell me about your experience. Super thanks
