Hi, Really appreciate your work. There is one thing really troubling me, if you can help me to understand it. I'm processing NMBI application and currently it is in EAR status. You know, I don't have a surname, in all my documents. It is just a single name. I didn't know the importance of having a surname until I started this process. I would like to know if in Ireland, we can survive with having a single name? If there is no other way, I need to start the process of adding surname in India itself. During NMBI process, NMBI didn't specifically asked for not having a surname. Please suggest me. Thanks in advance.

Here in India I did not encounter any problem with having a single name but I don't know whether after processing, during visa or in Ireland, I would have to face any issues in filling documents or any file work like in bank or something like that. I have heard that we can write given name in place of surname if one does not have a surname. Please suggest me. Thank you.

@@prash80844 Hi I am not sure whether not having a surname would cause any trouble in Ireland. If Nmbi is happy, and all your documents has that name on them, there shouldn’t be any problem. You can also check with a notary and make an affidavit as well, if you are worried. Thanks

Hi Oet/ielts validity is not necessary for aptitude test. Generally, Ielts/oet should be valid at the time of registration, after adaptation/aptitude. But, if you had a valid score at the time of assessment and your test got expired while waiting for DL, Nmbi considers it. You can check that directly with Nmbi via email. Thanks

Hi County Meath is close to Dublin & Drogheda, and Dublin has many big hospitals and Drogheda has one big hospital. Our Ladys Hospital Navan is one main hospital in Co.Meath. It is a small acute hospital with limited facilities. Living expenses is less compared to Dublin, but not a big difference, due to its proximity to Dublin. Thanks

Opportunities for professional growth in terms of education is there but it is less compared to Dublin teaching hospitals;about the weather, Wexford is the county with less rain and its a better place and only 2 hours away from Dublin.
