This ED is just perfect, and compared with the pictures at the end...My Higurashi fangirl heart can barely take it; I get chills every time. I love the OP and it gets me hyped, but the ED puts me in my deep feels.

No lie, this music makes me sad an angry. They fought so hard to win in Kai but now they're shoved back to square one. Even Frederica is angry. I hope they find some way to win again.

I wanna be honest here, i may probably missed something so correct me if I’m wrong, why can’t Rika just tell the others about her death and their past lives? If she can just tell them the truth then it’ll be easy for her.

@@AirSkyyy i think this situation happened already in the Original anime of Higurashi 2006 Rika cant tell the others about her death and past life because she will inevitably will get killed and the cycle will be reseting back to June 1st of 1983

@@AirSkyyy She has done it before and in the end she still died. I think it’s more that there is no point because they can’t do anything or in the case of the adults they won’t believe her.

This ED song is so fucking good. It fits the anime perfectly and holy shit when you see the illustrations in the ED while listening to this song its just CHILLS. People say straight flames but i say STRAIGHT CHILLS

Yeah I agree with this so much. It sucks so much when you see both Satoko and Rena's situations. Satoko is basically a child slave to her uncle while Rena's parents are divorced and her father cannot cope with the loss, so she has the burden of having to look after him as well as herself.

Beautiful song.

Spoiler alert: Regarding the lyrics, is true that the meaning of god's syndrome in this song is a reference to hinamizawa syndrome, where at the final stage of the syndrome people could hear oyashiro sama's footsteps? Since I think there's a correlation between this syndrome and meaning of the lyrics "The thread uniting love and life". People in hinamizawa all have this brain disease causing them to be more agressive, paranoia and commit violent act. For example when Shion rescues Keiichi , people around them began to show frightening faces while showing their support. Even so they treat it as "A way of showing solidarity of hinamizawa". Which is why in this song, The god syndrome is said to be the thread uniting love and life in hinamizawa . Are my assumptions wrong or correct?

nice catch, now do on for irregular entrophy!
@mikailfauzanathallah39913 жыл бұрын
@@HALMISTA for irregular entropy it's most likely satoko's point of view from the current situation. I don't think there's many symbolism in the lyrics. Spoiler alert: Now that higurashi gou has finally ended. I think it's safe to say this song God Syndrome isn't the Hinamizawa Syndrome. It's about how obsessed Satoko is with keeping Rika at her fingertips. She now posseses what you call a God complex. The word complex is written as "Syndrome" to clarify that its unhealthy obsession. She want to control all outcomes by basically being a god. It is proved by the conversation between her and Aeuya. However in the song itself. In my opinion, it's more of the thoughts between Rika and Satoko. Verse 1 opens with rika's thought until the lyrics "kami-sama no syndrome" appears. It suddenly reflects Satoko's view of the path she is walking on. She thinks that the thread of uniting her and Rika isn't something that great or grandiose. It's just a village called Hinamizawa. Then the lyrics say "i want to believe you that's why i won't lose my way." It maybe a bit confusing but i think it's both Rika and Satoko's thoughts on the situation they're in right now. Rika and Satoko both wanted to believe each other, but the irony is they're ideology and goals are conflicting. The chorus then explains how they both cherished each others words from their days at Hinamizawa. But silently they felt that their days in hinamizawa and at St.Lucia were filled with ominous sympathy to each other. Satoko sympathizes Rika's wish to be free from Hinamizawa and be happy in St Lucia. But Rika also sympathizes Satoko's condition at St. Lucia. However, Rika felt the sympathies that Satoko gave is ominous. Filled with something more than good will. While Satoko also feels ominous sympathy from Rika. This misunderstanding thus cause them to hurt each other. They both tremble at their own situations and helplessness. Satoko being helpless in St Lucia and Rika being helpless in the new Hinamizawa loop. Overall great song
