DIY - BMW NO CRANK NO START - Not battery , not starter - Quick & Easy Fix!

Hello everyone, if your bmw has no start and it is a few years old , try this! The bmw's seems to have a really weak and misplaced ground wire (near the bottom of the car where all the snow , salt and rains gets contact on the ground wire. Mine was corroded but NOT cut. Still, as soon as i put the new ground wire, the car started like a charm!!
Things i tested :
-Battery , 12V & good
-starter tested, good
-relays & fuses checked, all good.

Had this problem today with my x1, put the starter on it for 10 minutes and it cranked. Going to check the ground wire tomorrow.

I think the green is the copper in the wire oxidizing. It’s counter intuitive but it actually is a great visual indicator of a cable going bad!

What was the cause of this bro? My car went inside water almost bonnet height and it has the same problem its a 2022 x640i but there is no message displaying on the screen and it dosent start up, only the display is on, i took it to bmw service they didnt find anything aswell

The Ground wire FROM where?

As shown in the video, it’s between the chassis and the motor mount.

I have a f30 320i and mine is underneath the car somewhere in the middle

@@cwalk316 I found it, mine was underneat the car, over where the passenger set is, it was screwed from the chasi to the manual transmision of my car. It was in really bad shape, replacing it fixed my car
