Please take a note Sets who scale with attack like Nymph dream ,Echo High base attack weapon makes a big difference otherwise , stacking attack on low base weapon like jade cutter is not worth it so go for missing dmg bonus like shimenawa ( his aoe hydro application can be handy in some situation I don't recommend it though ) or gladiator/HoD

Very important to consider. The Echoes set has a ping limit aka it depends on how good your internet is. You're better off having a 4 pc Hod or a mix of 2pcglad/shim with 2pc HoD if your ping is higher than 100ms

Dream set is amazing but kinda bad to farm unless you use deyha (even then she likes emblem better), echos is also great unless you have great ping all the time and you have xiao, HoD is comfy no need to carefully stack anything and can be strong boxed, Gladiator my fav since you can passively farm it, overall I really want to use the first two sets for my ayato but I don’t deyha or xiao to build in the domains 😭

You don't need things to be resin efficient to farm it. I think this sentiment is really harmful for genshin since it's your game and you can do whatever you want. If you want that set for him, go for it, don't let anyone stop you (even yourself). Also take into effect the 2 piece effects, the new ayato domain has hp% 2piece which is really good for characters like nilou, yelan, Hu Tao, healers, etc. And the hydro 2piece is really good on all hydro characters even Kokomi. As for the echoes set both pieces give atk% which is good on a LOT of characters.

@@Rakaan238 I agree, any HP scaling works great with 2 pc Vourukasha's Glow. this is actually a really great domain to farm if you're an Ayato or Childe main and have any HP scaling character like healers or Yelan or Hu Tao and such

Once you are at the end game resin is like a task you need to complete until its full. Ive maxed completely my main dps and support and resin has almost no use unless i need it for new character or weapon. No such thing as resin efficiency if you are at the point of farming new artifacts

Lol I had so much luck with that domain. In the first 2 weeks a full nymph dps set and for nilou a full hp set with still decent crit lol. I was so proud of myself for absolutely no reason . Especially since the nymph set had like 190 ‘Em 😭

My ayato uses shimemawa bcs thats all i have. Nvr get good emblem or glad, but always crazy shimemawa. Now it has 67/256 crit with black sword. 13/12k per hit when using energy, 10k when having no burst energy

Is it recommended to NA 3x to build stacks before doing his skill? I feel like for the ease of use HoD and Glad are unconditional, so might be comfier to use. tempting to re farm nymphs dream for Ayato but for now I’ll stick with my glad, 75/240.

Ayato has a hidden mechanic which makes him deal one extra slash; If you do a normal attack and then quickly cancel the animation by using his skill that'll make him deal one extra slash during those 6 seconds! What I would personally recommend for Nymph's dream is to use 2 NA's before using his skill. That way you use the extra slash to stack the last stack of the artifact set. That extends his on field time a little bit, but it's not an impact in the team's DPR since Ayato is going to deal more damage that way. (There's not a huge difference between nymph's dream and other artifact sets for ayato though, i'd personally just stick with glad)

honestly go for echoes if your ping doesn’t go above 100, because even though the new nymph’s dream is good echoes still stands as his main best artifact as it was meant for him and it was released alongside him

Im confused. Every Side i visit says Echos is better, but in burst Nymph seems to be better? Would Echo better after Burst? Echo does 15,5k na's but just 14k Skill burst. Nymph does 16k on Skill burst but just 12k on Na's. Will Echos Out Damage Nymph with Autohits after Burst phase? Sorry for asking maybe obvious questions, just a bit confused. Want to farm a good set for him. ^^'

echoes has a dmg buff mechanic with a base 36% chance to proc its inconsistent due to it being RNG based and requires you to have good ping. technically if echoes proc most of the time it should be able to out damage nymph set. but since its inconsistent nymph is a good alternative nymph set has stacks that increases attack and hydro damage and to get these stacks you have to normal attack (NA) ayatos burst dmg is locked to what stats he had upon casting it. so if you can get the max stacks before casting ayatos burst it should deal more dmg. technically echoes is a good set for him but the RNG of it is just annoying. your better off either going for HoD, nymph, or glad set for a much consistent dmg output HoD for ease of use gladiator if you have a good set ready nymph same case as glad and lastly echoes.
