While watching I ate blini (pancakes) with condensed milk. There were no attacks of nausea, I can calmly watch such pictures. What can I say, the film is still good, unlike parts 2 and 3, but the first is a classic, and still has cultural weight in its genre. I love this song because The girl is no maniac. It seems to me that the meaning of the song is that you don’t have to be a psychopathic maniac to watch "Centipede" or read "120 Days of Sodom" etc. Everyone has their own cockroaches in their heads, and if you perceive every oddity as a red flag, then you won’t be able to build relationships with anyone at all. As a result, both the girl and the guy, both of them fucked in the head, are worth each other. Just remember the continuation of the story in the song “mixed messages”...

I 100% agree with you ! But I think the weird quirkiness moral of the music video is that someone can have a weird fascination with a movie or show and it’s not them as a whole, it’s them just being passionate about something weird. Human centipede is definitely off putting. But if the movie or show for example was just weird because you don’t see how they love it, it’s endearing.
